JM: Kirschner is spot-on, of course. Trump and his cronies can continue their crime spree only because they are still not indicted by the DOJ. The prosecutors seem to be leaning too far towards caution by not arresting TFG. If some idiot in TFG following takes TFG’s threat of the officer seriously and “goes out to get him”, even when his identity is no more than speculation, the DOJ will have blood on their hands. Are they willing to take the “collateral damage”? And then making it worse by first fully investigating this?
NTN: It’s not the first time this famous bridge is stuck in the up position, because it is long overdue on some maintenance (where have I heard that before), which is both extensive and has to be carried out at night because the council doesn’t dare to close this vital road down. And the costs are beyond imagining. So what do they do, as any good council/government does? Procrastinate.
