JM: Kirschner is repeating this mantra so often that I’m not sure whether he’s trying to keep up our hopes or his own.
MT: Republican leaders are making it very clear that they do not want any further dealings with pesky lefty journalists, or any journalists that think they’re entitled to ask questions for that matter. The little that was shown in the video made clear that McCarthy (impatiently) was waiting for Grant Stern to be removed from the audience. There wasn’t a white hair on his head even considering answering questions, let alone listening to one.
NTN: AOC may well have thought that more was going to happen to her; it may have been an avalanche of negative thoughts. Fear tends to do that to people. It’s one of the pillars the GQP builds its empire on.
ROF: Good point. To not get vaccinated isn’t a personal decision; it is the lazy, selfish decision on public health and the life and death of other people.
