Yesterday stayed oool enough that I got within spitting distnce of finishing that winter sweater. One or maybe two cool days and it will be done. And I have a large cotton project and several small, lightweight projects ready for more heat.

TJI #2 annd 3 – Swallwell makes the obvious even more obvious, which raises the question, why can’t everyne see it?
TJI #4 – I saw a video clip in which he said that, or something close to it to Andy Biggs, I believe it was – the one who said the insurrection looked like normal tourist behavior. What struck me was that Raskin sounded like s genuine human being ans Biggs sounded like a talking Fer-de-Lance – monotone with an undertone of fury, saying the same thing over and over (complaining he was’t being quoted correctly), and talking over Raskin. Ir was nearly unbearable.
TJI#1: Poor rUdy. Hate to tell him that tRump doesn’t give a hoot about him or his financial hardships.
TJI#2: I can’t wait till mCcarthy is under oath and has to answer these questions.

Cartoon: That picture is both memorable and scary. Of course, hindsight is easy but how could people not have seen the sign. This picture really says more than a thousand words.

Reuters: It may have meant more to the Bidens if Beau had been honoured before Joe Biden became president. Now it has become too closely entangled with politics and the kiss-ass diplomacy the former guy was so fond of. Trump offered his goodwill up for any gold-covered trinket; Biden doesn’t so I hope he gets to savour the gesture in a more private moment.

I’m not sure if I’m fully in agreement; remembering “Mein Kampf” on the banned lists for many years after WWII.
They had already honored Beau earlier by namig a street after him. And that makes your point even stronger. But you may also notice neither he nor Dr Jill was present -just our ambassador. I think that sends a signal of no funny business.
I do try to keep my promises. Even with your counterexample, even that should (1) be available for study but (b) not be made more attractive by being forbidden.
