Testimony of Heroes: Officers Dunn, Fanone, Gonell & Hodges
Heroes – every last one of them!
GOP is about to be EXPOSED as Terrorists
As noted, the biggest problem facing the Select Committee Hearing: If you COULD reason with Trump supporters, they WOULDN’T BE Trump supporters.
Heroes

Sidebar: I’m curious, just how does one learn enough about one’s own … hmmm … anal sphincter to rate it “Extraordinary”?
Never mind … I don’t think I want to know!
This 1916 Experiment Made Workers Wealthy
While I think the idea of Profit-Sharing has merit, I’m not sure how appealing it would be to Gen X, Gen Y (Millennials) or Gen Z. I doubt how familiar they even are w/ the names of the companies used as examples (Sears, P&G, US Steel, Kodak, Pillsbury).
[But it did bring back memories for me – but I’m 73 y/o!]
Summer fun
I would encourage EVERYONE to learn how to do CPR

Another complication is that some plans called profit-sharing plans are actuallu watered-down 401Ks. I ran into one of those briefly .. and I say watered down becus I had it for only a few years so didn’t end up transferring much. But there was no employee contribution required, so if one stayed there long enough, it could have ended up being pretty nice. But one didn’t see ti right away.
JM: Heroes indeed, especially since they had no backup to speak off and their interaction with the insurrectionists became very personal. They had reason to fear for their own lives.
MT: Be prepared to be very disappointed, guys. This is not going to be a turning point in history. All the videos and statements of people who went through the experience were already brought forward so many times during the past six months, but it was always shouted down, denied or dressed up as something else and it never took. There’s too much at stake for them and the GQP will not be divided and will boil this down to a witch-hunt which will happily be gobbled up by the Trumpkins.
LP: Heroes to us, just a bone of contention to the GQP.
RU: Get loud, get very, very loud indeed. This needs BLM-like protest on steroids and in overdrive.
RR: They tried it in the 80s in the IT company I worked for; it didn’t work for most of the reasons Robert mentioned. The CEOs put an end to it and put the shares in their own pockets. For employees, it was a major loss.
VV: Looks like not all are going to make it out alive. Both Taliban and Republicans are to blame.
Beau: Two things; learn CPR (humming “staying alive” to yourself for the rhythm of the pushes) and look at videos of children silently and quietly drowning in pools without people around them noticing. Just yesterday I was watching some very disturbing videos on Daily Kos of children drowning without adults, just feet away or swimming past, noticing because they don’t yell or thrash about.
