Glenn Kirschner – Trump’s Friend Tom Barrack Is Arraigned in Court on 7 Felony Charges, Released on $250 Million Bail
The Lincoln Project – Rematch
MSNBC – General Honoré speaks.
Rob Rogers – Vaccine News
Just possibly, sheep may be getting a bum rap. The sharer of this video uses the term “elegant,” and you can see why.
Beau – Let’s talk about blame for the 6th and the National Guard….

Trump’s Friend Tom Barrack Is Released on $250 Million Bail
Yeah, that’s a LOT of money. BUT if you were 74 y/o, worth over a BILLION DOLLARS & facing a long prison sentence – I’d bet you’d be happy to forfeit the money & get the HELL out of Dodge.
LP: REMATCH
As noted: You don’t need to “drive” Trump crazy – it’s just a short stroll away.
Lt. Gen. Honoré Discusses Capitol Riot Probe
And Mitch McConnell agrees:

Let’s talk about blame for the 6th …
GQP Excuse: Hey, Pelosi – You KNEW we were bat$hit crazy traitors and seditionists! You should have stopped us.
This is ALL YOUR FAULT!
(Said w/ a straight face by McCarthy, McConnell, Jordan, Brooks, Gosar AND SPECIFICALLY Rep. Elise Stefanik.)
JM: $250 million is a nice payoff for these seven indictments. This is probably the last of Mr Barrack we’ll see, he’ll soon turn up in the Emirates or some other country that doesn’t have an extradition agreement with the US. Barrack is so rich he’s got a little mansion waiting for him in a series of convenient countries. And he has got enough money to buy himself out of the US unnoticed too.
LP: Yup the LP is still here and the only loser is the former guy. For now. But for how long?
MSNBC: “This video is age-restricted”? Do I need to get my little sign up again, YouTube?
Anyway: Honoré doesn’t mince his words and we can only hope that those appearing before the committee don’t do so either. His remark on Republicans not supporting better funding of the Capitol Police makes sense. They don’t want too much funding, i.e. force redied against their/Trump’s next try to take the Capitol. And even when that comes to nothing, Republicans will not wait one second to double the funds for Capitol-Police protection as soon as they’ve stolen, gerrymandered, voter-suppressed and intimidated their way back into power again.
RR: A wonderful cartoon indeed.
Colossal: It’s elegant mostly because of the very fast-moving little dots around the flock: the sheepdogs. Without them, they wouldn’t even get near a gate to go to another paddock.
Beau: So the National Guard was ordered to be unable to respond to the attack of the “demonstrators” by the Secretary of Defence, who was summoned to do so by the former guy himself. I hope with Beau that this committee, which has two, but unusually sensible, Republicans in its midst, will be able to resist blaming some fall guy in the National Guard structure for what happened as Republicans have undoubtedly already started pushing for. I hope with Beau that the committee will have the guts to prove who really is responsible and put the responsibility only at the feet where it belongs. Those of Trump.
I’m sorry you didn’t get to see it before it was slapped with an age restriction. It wasn’t when I posted it, or I wouldn’t have, because I couldn’t have seen it myself. I can tell you that YouTube caves way too easily to the far right.
Here’s everyone on the Select Committee:
+ = former impeachment manager
Bennnie Thompson, chair (chair of DHS Committee)
Zoe Lofgren +
Adam Schiff +
Jamie Raskin +
Pete Aguilar, vice chair House Dem Caucus
Stephanie Murphy, co-chair “BlueDog” caucus, has experience in national security and has lived in a war zone.
Elaine Luria, Navy veteran (Ret.)
and then
Liz Cheney
Adam Kinzinger
Pretty sure the committee will not slack off.
