It’s a lazy painful day, here in the CatBox. I was confused about the day I had requested the Methadone increase. It was today not, yesterday, so I was in severe pain all day WWWendy is coming to give me a shower this morning. I dis mot Republicate again. Please pray for stable Republication and a smooth transition to the new meds dose.

TJI #5 – “Fair and balanced” has become a mantra to invent lies to make both sides look the same – that’s their idea of balance. Notice that “truth” in nowhere included in that mantra. If they were to change it to “Truth, justice, and the American way,” and then try to live up to that, they’d probably collectively sprain something.

Sadly, that looks like a recipe for a painful day. I am praying I am wrong in every detail. We are having a mini-monsoon season, which is keeping the days cool and the nights chilly. I neglected my irises even more than usual during the pandemic, but I did get a little fertilizer down before this last monsoon started … I am hoping at least one will bloom.
Cartoon – Practicallyspeaking, we have already lost it. Charter schools (and other private schools which didn’t use to be there) killed it. When wypipo want to evade laws they don’t like, they can be very creative. Too bad that creativity can’t be harnessed for anything positive.
Blast – Great song except for two things – it’s an earworm, and it so darned sad. I decided to try to spend the rest of the day not in tears by skipping this ine..

It broke my heart too. I’ve been sitting on it a while. But sooner or later it’s something we need to be aware of.
You’re dying in a hospital and your last thought is “Who is going to pay for it?” That is heart-breaking.
Despicable. Out country sucks when it comes to health/medical care.
We’ve worked out lives paying into them and then when we need them the most, they don’t give a damn.
The greedy insurance and healthcare companies think more about their flipping profits/stocks than they do about saving a human’s life.
Something definitely needs to be done NOW.

How terrible you had to pay so dearly for your afternoon of sharing in the enjoyment of BBQ ribs, TomCat. It is so difficult finding the right balance between pain management and enjoying something even a little, isn’t it.
Cartoon: Republicans found a way to segregate schools again; they segregate between public and private schools.
BFTP: I had never heard John and Cass together; that beautiful song got a little extra with Cass’ voice. But I should have taken Joanne’s advice…I’m in tears now and I’ve got my friend coming for lunch. She’ll wonder why I’m in such a blue mood.
