It’s a tired, painful, Republicitis day here in the CatBox. The Providence Hospice Nurse came here and suggested an increase in Methadone and a med for anxiety. I chewed her butt pretty thoroughly, and explained that there would have been no anxiety, if she had not screwed up my meds TWICE and that to suggest medicating me because she fell short in the performance of her job is absurd, if not devious. We will be following my treatment plan. Wendy gave me a shower. It felt wonderful, but exacerbated my pain, because its so much work for me. I also have severe Republicitis and am loaded with laxatives. Please pray that I Republicate and have a decrease in pain.

Good to read that you got things off your chest with your conversation to the Hospice Nurse. Following your med plan that serves you well, is most important. Glad you got your shower. Sadly, you had to give the Providence Hospice Nurse a piece of your mind, but you were absolutely right to do so, TomCat. I hope it made you feel a little better after having done that. Showering seems to be getting both a joy and a curse at the same time. I hope it will continue to feel more wonderful than painful for a long time yet.
I do wish there could be a way to relieve your pain without you ending up with severe Republicitis. I’m sending you good, relieving thoughts, my dear friend.

Glad to read that you were able to get some of your feelings off loaded to the Providence Hospice Nurse. You had all the right to do so, with her not doing nor following thru for you numerous times. She certainly didn’t need to give you a med for that. If she’s not caused the issue in the first place you wouldn’t of had the problem. Hopefully you won’t have to do that ever again.
Sorry to hear that your suffering with the Republicitis again. I honestly worry about you being given so many laxatives, mainly because of all of your other meds being flushed out with you do go. Wish there was a better way to take care of the issue. I know I’ve suggested eating prunes, or even apricots before, but maybe with you being there they can offer you something more natural.
