It’s a very hectic day, here in the CatBox. Yesterday I had a visit from my new Providence Hospice Chaplain. I was thoroughly impressed with her. I found her a totally authentic Christian and consider myself blessed to have her. If you are so moved, please join me in a prayer of thanksgiving. On the down side I was unable to Replicate this morning. Wish me success on that. Have a fine weekend!

Cartoon: I just wish they’d go away, and shut the ‘H’ up!! ‘
BFTP: Great song!
So sweet that the Hospice Chaplain came to visit with you, and that she a true, caring, and empathetic person to you. Hope you can Replicate. Take good, good care, have a great day, take a nap, and have a great day!!

TJI #1 – See the video thread when it goes up.
TJI #3 – There are somany ways to say “wjite” with way too many syllables – I am stealing Mondaire’s remark.
TJI #4 – Interesting point. Personally, I think they have thrown Mike Pece under the bus. It will be interesting to watch.
I am more than happy to join you in a prayer of thanksgiving, and I am sure I am far from alone in that! Doo feel better, though.
As the Biden administration encourages Congress to pursue anti-trust action(s) against “Big Tech,” there are some key players in the fight, and this article from thThe Hill briefly introduces them … and raises the possibility that I may have to be grateful to Ken Buck, of all people. That is a nauseating thought, but I do believe in credit where credit is due. We shall see.
Thia article is from Aeon, which has a Creative Commons license, but that license is limited to “Ideas” and this is a “Guide.” But what it is a guide to is critical thinking. It explains why it is so difficult to do, but shows how anyone can learn to do it, but it requires effort and is often (if not always) counter-intuitive. I used my browser’s “print” function to make a PDF in order to keep it handy.
Cartoon – We have a Catch-22 here. In order to actually carry out this pledge, they can’t say it out loud, because doing do would ne “incnvenient.”
Blast – Excellent advice. Not so easy to folloe when idiotd make the long-tongued liar “President.”
Glad to hear that you are feeling increasingly comfortable at the new place.
BFP: I did not know, nor expect, the Airplane to have a religiously themed song. Nice music, though.
I also give thanks that the chaplain proves to be a person whose faith makes you welcome what he can bring to your life TC.
I am glad the chaplain is a true follower of compassion, caring, and truth….good luck to you…..think of you daily even if I don’t write daily…
Cartoon: Yep, that the rotten R’s for you. Never meant to ever serve the people. Just for themselves.
BFTP: Good one by the Jefferson Airplane.
Happy to hear that you had great visit with your new Hospice Chaplain, that you’re pleased with her.
Hope that you had a deceit afternoon and that your evening is pleasant.
Prayers being sent your way, Tom
Take care.
Your new home seems to tick all the boxes, TomCat. There is indeed a lot to be thankful for in your new surroundings.
Cartoon: They sure are adhering to this pledge, aren’t they?
BFTP: No blast here, I’ve not heard it before.
TC…I’m delighted that you’ve met a new friend who can share your view on life/faith! Have you met any neighbors? Wishing you happiness and lots of comfort in your new digs…
Thanks and Sunday Hugs to all. I have my Trump* virus vaccination tomorrow.
