It’s a BIG NEWS day, here in the CatBox. I’m still waiting for pics from WWWendy, but I have been accepted as a Resident of Ivy Court Senior Living in Clackamas, OR. It’s a mile from where WWWendy lives. Today’s schedule has changed. WWWendy and the Providence Hospice Nurse are coming instead of my Providence Shower Aides. Apparently WWWendy and the Nurse were in contact and the Nurse was helpful in arranging my placement, so my earlier dissatisfaction was an error due to ignorance on my part.

I know how hard it is for you to not be in control of the situation but promise me that you’ll leave the move to the experts. You can’t afford the spend the last of your energy on staying on top of things. Let it go when it is time to move and enjoy a bit of pampering, my friend.

You are all very kind and generous. Thanks so much. I do appreciate all of you, and I know you understand how lonely being here seems at times.
There are good and decent people here, who are very aware of the world around them. Unfortunately, as I told Joanne, they all seem to be at my doctors’ office, which is all female and predominantly Black. I’m sure it would help if I were more mobile, didn’t live next door to an elementary school on one side and an 85 yr. old woman with senile dementia on the other.
Actually, if I could write, I would just write a book because nothing seems realistic at this time.
TC, take cate, and I promise to make more of an effort to not sound like that crazy woman in Alabama!
