It’s a more contained day, here in the CatBox.  I did not Republicate yesterday for the first time in ages, so I need to be careful not to overdo it the other way and find myself with OIC again.  I had lots of good rest yesterday and plan more of the same for today.  Tomorrow the Hospice Shower Aides are coming.  After they leave, I can rest, because WWWendy is doing my grocery shopping this week and bringing the food Saturday, when she comes again on Saturday.  Otherwise I’m waiting for news to pass along to you.  Happy Hump Day!

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 4:10 (average 4:30).  To do it, click here.  How did yopu do?

  1. Cartoon: Wonderful !! Now this is something to brag about. R’s … go back into your hole.
BFTP: Had my favorites, but the Righteous Brothers were up there being awesome! Love this song!

Hope that all goes well for you today,…re: the plumbing. Tomorrow sounds busy with the Hospice Shower Aides  coming, and Wendy picking up the groceries. Busy week. Hope you get a chance to relax, take good, good care, get a nap in, and Thanks, Tom.

*This just in: “In three months, donald trump has gone from president of the United States to a bookable clown.” ~ Jimmy Kimmel ~
    2. “Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world.” ~ Hillary Clinton ~
    3. “Our future cannot depend on the government alone. The ultimate solutions lie in the attitudes and the actions of the American people.” ~ President Joe Biden ~
    4. “I am aware of the latest unhinged screed from trump, but I’m not going to amplify it. His insults of Fauci and Birx have no news value.” ~ Aaron R. ~
    5. “What I want young women and girls to know, is that you are powerful, and your voice matters.” ~ Vice President Kamala Harris ~

  2. So, take extra good care today.
‘Toon: A Jersey guy, no less!
BFP: Always have had a soft spot for this song.

  3. Glad you got some good rest. Since you are waiting, we will wait.

Cartoon – I’ll celebrate the last Republican to vote. If I live so long.

Blast – “[I]t’s a record designed to reduce anyone separated from the one they loved to a ‘pile of mush’.” – Steve Sullivan, in the Encyclopedia of Popular Song Recordings. It certainly is that. And yet there are people who think it suitable for weddings. When first recorded as a single (not when first recorded at all – that was for the movie “Unchained”) it was expected to be a throwaway. And then, long after it was gone fron the charts, it was used in another movie and it topped the charts all over again, in multiple recordings all at the same time. Go figure. So, now that you have reduced all of us to piles of mush ….

  4. Cartoon: Great day to remember. Hope we can keep the rotten R’s from interfering with the future elections/votes.
BFTP: Great tune by the Righteous Brothers. They were one of my favorites to listen to.
It’s so nice to hear that you were able to get some rest, plus that you didn’t Republicate yesterday. Pray that you continue going in that positive direction.
Hope the news you’re waiting for comes soon.
Keep getting all of the rests you and your body needs. Please eat and drink too.
    Do take care, Tom

  5. Glad your Republicosis has left the building and you’re careful to not let Republicitis back in either. Start adding those fibres (moderately) to your diet again, TomCat.

Cartoon: Republicans have been trying to turn back the clock on that vote since.

BFTP: I know the song but it passed me by at the time. Too young, I suppose.

  6. Always difficult to “titrate” things.  But it sounds like matters are moving your way!

And wonderful news that you’re able to get more rest!

  7. Thanks and Happy Hugs to all.  For great news, please see today’s Personal Update! 28
