KD: The time that this was only done behind closed doors or at least with a little blush of shame on their cheeks is long behind Republicans. They’ve come out of the closet as fascists and they won’t be put back in.
Beau: There’s one plus to abolishing filibustering that’s not mentioned yet; it would save everyone a tremendous amount of time. Time that could be used to get the country back on its feet.
C&M: I’ve no idea what they have to do with anybody’s logic but I’m familiar with almost all of them. Very familiar.
I’ll skip the last one, it isn’t likely to bring back any memories for me.

McCarthy was in the Senate, and waas shut up by IIRC 1947. In the House it was Dies and he was every bit as bad, for much longer, yet has been forgotten. I guess no one ever asked him if he had no shame.
