It’s a tired and busy day, here in the CatBox. I could not get an afternoon nap yesterday, because Maintenance was doing major repairs on the vacant apartment next door. The noise was deafening. It was so bad that I could not even hear the TV three feet from my head. I did get some sleep last night, but not enough. I’ll try to touch base when I return from the hospital. TGIF!!
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 4:32 (average 5:43). To do it, click here. How did you do?

Cartoon: Amen! Happy Birthday, Reverend King!
BFTP: Good one!
Hope all goes good for you, and that you get a chance to rest when you get back home. (and that the work is done next door). Take good, good care, and Thanks, Tom.

3. “Nancy Pelosi wore the same dress for both impeachments. She literally has a Trump impeachment outfit.”

5. “A majority of Republicans want trump to be the nominee in 2024. I wonder which part of his legacy they’re
most impressed by? The 4000 deaths per day? OR his rioters shitting inside the Capitol? ~ Andy Borowitz ~
TJI #1 – Well, it took them long enough. Not that they are alone in that.
TJI #2 – And Bought Bitch Mitch will no longer …
TJI #3 – Shades of RBG!
TJI #4 – His brother is on Daily Kos under the handle of “Doctor Who”, and posted one of the firat articles anywhere about him there. It’s touching, personal, and extremely proud of him.
TJI #5 – Which is a big reason why this impeachmen is so important – whether he’s in or out – it’s our only chance to get a vote on prohibiting him from any public office ever. It has to be voted on separately from the actual impeachment, but it can only be done then.
Shit! Rubio has been chair of intelligence? Why did that oxymoron escape my notice?
TJI#4: A clearly wonderful man!
TJI#5 -Sitting here in utter disbelief!!!!!!!!
I don’t suppose you can sleep during the infusion? I certainly hoepe you get some sleep eventtually!
Cartoon: I don’t normally push Theater of War Productions because it’s too complicated to explain, and most people would think they wouldn’t be interested anyway (although most who took a chance have been pleasantly surprised). But this one isn’t anything that sounds dull at all. As always since the pandemic started, it will be on Zoom (for their first ten year, they presented only in person with just a few video clips available as teasers.) It’s completely free. And it is for Dr. King.
Blast: A most interesting group. A different take on “Richard Corey.” (Both versions are useful, certainly. Unfortunately, all the Richard Coreys and Lucky Men don’t see the luck. They think they’ve earned it and are entitled.
This is exactly what I have been thinking (and biting my tongue over.)
Thanks, Joanne, I’m registered.
For others, I have watched several TOW productions, commented, live, in one, and have found it worthwhile.
The “Two Party Opera” makes a hugely salient point!
Thanks for the confirmation. they do do good work.
TPO: Now there’s an idea.
Cartoon: A true fighter for the people’s rights. Happy Birthday Martin.
BFTP: Great song by E. L.& P.
Hoping your visit, infusion goes well today. Maybe you’ll have a nice lunch with Wendy. Tell her, “Hello”.
Too bad you had so much noise going on yesterday that you didn’t get to rest. Maybe today you’ll be able to catch up on getting some.
Take care. Thanks TomCat
Happy, Happy, Martin!
ELP rocks; pun intended.
Thanks all. I am home, exhausted, and going to 🛌
So glad you’re home. Exhausted was expected. Hope you sleep sound and get rested.
Not that I wouldn’t trade in a heartbeat if I could.
But sometimes (although very rarely) hearing loss does have a few benefits.
My mother’s mother was born with no sense of smell (I guess – I suppose she could have lost it in a childhood illness.) It didn’t exactly make her a great cook – and she missed out on a lot. But she got a little of her own back when the family was out for a drive and they passed by a roadkilled skunk.
I hope your hospital day went well despite your lack of sleep, TomCat. Get as much rest as you need now; your hospital visits always exhaust you.
4:05 A win only because you were so tired.
Cartoon: Happy birthday, MLK. I hope your future birthdays will be under a more positive alignment of the planets.
BFTP: Always loved that ELP song, both for the text and the music. Entitlements don’t get you very far on the battlefield; that’s why Trump’s doctor discovered his bone spurs.
Sleep does make such a difference–hang in there TC.
Hey, TC…hoping you’re bright-eyed & ”bushy tailed” (as a cat should be) after your procedure! You need to be rested to keep track of all the doings we’ll be seeing in the next few days! Good wishes coming your way!
Thanks and No Hugs to all!
