All very good, and I can understand your “hanky alert,” Joanne, however, as for DW: Hawley “..is a liar.” Boy, that must be the understatement of the new year!
That Lincoln Project video should be sponsored to be put up for several months to come. Democrats shouldn’t forgive and forget, voters shouldn’t forgive and forget. Remember their names or these vipers will return. Sedition already is Ted Cruz’s middle name.
During the debate in the House I was much impressed by Conor Lamb, whom Republicans tried to prevent speaking the truth. As this video came up at the end of the Now This News clip, I took the liberty of embedding it here as a thank-you to Conor Lamb.

KO: Keith underlines eloquently what I’ve put in the comment on TomCat’s Open Thread: Trump must be impeached right now or he’ll repeat his stunt on the 20th for the inauguration of Biden. He has now indicated that he’ll not be coming to the ceremony, which even I can tell is a signal for his base to come to D.C. and finish the coup in earnest. Congress has pussy-footed around Trump and the police has pussy-footed around the attackers, so again there were no consequences for the first coup attempt. This moment is Trumps last chance…I’m not sure I’ll want to watch the outcome on live stream this time around.

Twitter is putting out a warning that there are hordes of Tweets planning another attack for January 17th. I hope better preparations can be made
