“Balulalow” from “A Ceremony of Carols” by Benjamin Britten. Britten strongly wanted the work to be done with choirs of men and boys only. I understand that, but I like this one with an adult woman soloist.

Ossoff is, shall we say, on the money. But, do not, for a moment, think that Dumpness really cares about monet for the people. He just wants to beust the GOP chops, as they did not work hard enough to get him a 2nd term.
MT: GOP dirtbags, which essentially means all of them, should have been given “special” tickets for the line-up, beginning with number 360,000,000.
REWIND: ICE needs to be melted, and many of them prosecuted.
Keith is righteously angry, and for good reason. Hell, if Trump had gotten a 2nd term, he’d probably pardoned these same people, and put them in his cabinet.
Well, it just dawned on me. regarding Keith: So, how are the evangelinuts going to justify this move? “Oh, they are his cadre of secret troops going out to find, and punish, the libtard pedophiles!”
Sure they are.
I doubt we’ll ever know what prompted Donnie to avoid involvement WRT COVID & Omnibus Budget bill – and then weigh-in w/ his 2 cents at the last minute – but it’s going to make the republicans look bad (like Scrooge) & can only help in Georgia elections. So there’s that.
I’ve already voiced my opinion about republicans downplaying and spreading the lies WRT COVID – and then take cuts to get the vaccine. So typical.
The Christmas lights display from Italy with the peacocks fanning their tails was absolutely astounding!
In Italy (and Europe from others I’ve seen), when it comes to Christmas lights, it appears they do “Tasteful, Without Being Gaudy”. In America we more frequently do “Gaudy, Without Being Tasteful”.
I’m afraid you’re right about Christmas lights. But the owners of the gaudiest display in Colorado Springs can laugh at themselves (they include an over-the-top parody called “Decorations” about how insane decorations can be as part of their sound track), and I’ll forgive them a lot for that.

I agree with Pam and others who say that tRump is sabotaging the R’s. Not that he ever cared about the people, but now that he’s lost, he’s gotten even worse. To me he’s out to take revenge on everyone and sadly it will continue till January 20th, when Biden is sworn into office.
