TJ2: That’s a bunch of crap only having one drop box for the county. I’ve been watching CNN and they’ve been talking about the excessive amount of voters out there in Georgia and Texas. I applaud these voters. I’m happy to hear that because I’m feeling positive that people want a change, to get rid of tRump. I’ll be finishing mine so I can mail mine by Friday.
People waiting up to 11 hours to vote EARLY made the headlines in Oz.
People have been saying that if they had to crawl naked over broken glass covered with cayenne pepper to vote, they would do it I certainly hope no one has to, and that all the votes are counted.
I’m running late myself, having spent the last two hours at an (online) Theater of War production (of King Lear). In other news, crossing my fingers, I MAY have found (and removed) the program that was usurping all my memory, which MAY be related to my internet issues. Time will tell.

Cartoon – The League’s headquarters was not in Germany – if the UN headquarters weren’t in the US we’d already have been out by now. If Trump gets a second term, I can guarantee we’ll be out.
TVU – Yes, I saw the rising numbers here, particularly in Denver, and thought “second wave.” Guess I’ll be here at home till at least spring.

Housekeeping note – Keith streams live but as a non-You-Tube-subscriber, I can’t see it till he finishes, so on any given day the earliest I can get the Video Thread up is 3:15. It may be later today since I spent so much time theater-ing. But, for future reference, that’s what to expect.

WRT the COVID Tracking Map, I’ve decided to FORGO getting together w/ family for Thanksgiving & Christmas.
I have a few risk factors, and lots of the relative include kids in their 20s – and I do NOT trust their following CDC guidelines.
Not all that disheartened about missing Christmas (most of the relatives are Talibangelical christianist, so I won’t miss all the proselytizing) – but Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday! I always say it’s like Christmas with fewer decorations, less stress, better food and NO proselytizing. [NOTE: I’m fine w/ “Come Ye Thankful People, Come”]
Nike and I will make a turkey with all the trimmings (or at least the ones I like) … or, like Elena Kagan, find a Chinese restaurant that’s open.
If it will make you feel more at home, I’ll try to remember to proselytize you on Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Don’t count on me to proselytize you. If my actions don’t proselytize you, my words certainly won’t.
