From AlterNet: The Daily Caller has taken tens of thousands of dollars to help Republican campaigns raise money while performing political fact-check services for Facebook.
Federal election filings from the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee show that the two organizations rented email lists from the publication this year, paying $40,213.75 and $18,171.40, respectively.
The Caller, a right-wing publication co-founded by Fox News personality Tucker Carlson, has also since 2016 sent dozens of emails “paid for by Trump Make America Great Again Committee,” a joint fundraising vehicle shared by the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee, according to Media Matters.
Media Matters also revealed that The Daily Caller has sent sponsored emails on behalf of a number of Republican candidates this year. Media Matters posted screenshots of the emails, from Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C; Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio; the Senate Conservatives Fund; and the Bikers for the President PAC.
Their association with The Daily Caller, which is published excrement, hideously co-founded by Fucker Carlson, make this clear. With Fakebook, the only way to win is not to play! UNPLUG!! RESIST!!

TVU: Good to see the positive trend here statewide (albeit cautiously). One of our school districts (down the road here), extended online school for 4 weeks, and will use virtual classrooms until Oct. 12, which I’m relieved of. We need to do it here too. (county).
AN: Good to know about this. Lies and more lies, though that’s what they do all the time.
MSNBC: We’ve done ours online this year. Of course, trump w/do anything in his power to sabotage it.

It deeply saddens me but also enrages me that this is exactly what I predicted for First Nation Americans at the beginning of the outbreak. My prediction was based on the Australian Aboriginals’ plea to keep the virus out of their lands because “It will kill us all”. For now, the Australian federals and state governments have heeded that warning and kept the virus from Aboriginal doors

MSNBC – To skew red, yes. But also, to deliver information to Trump and not to Biden. Incidentally, we are not talking just a month. The Bureau has asked for an extension to keep counting into 2021. So this is even more evil than it looks on the surface.
Past – I don’t want to belittle or minimize loss of life. But I have to think the greatest tragedy of 9/11 was that it brought us together – against someone and something outside. That isn’t what we need. We need to be brought together to battle the evil that is inside. Inside our country, and inside all of us.

I’m well aware that he has committed crimes also – But my reaction was, “If this is the best the Republicans can hold up as a positive example, that’s a ral indictment of how they have fallen since Lincoln (even since Ike).”

Update: Those central states left in their reopening phase are the ones to watch for the next hotspots in about two weeks time. And they’re certainly not going to save Trump’s economy for him.

MSNBC: Stopping a month early, enabling the results to be there by election time; it is abundantly clear what Republicans and Trump are trying to do. And they’re so desperate they’re not even hiding their intent. Actions like these, imperilling the only clear and reasonably concise view a federal government has of the total population of the country on which it should base its policies for ALL, once more show that The Census should be in the hands of a completely independent agency and not be under the influence of the whims of an administration.
