It’s a painful day here in the CatBox. Sitting in my chair to write exacerbates my spinal cancer pain. The pain seems to become severe about two hours before my Oxycodone dose. I’ll talk to my palliative care team on the 16th. Wendy is alive and well in Wyoming. Have a great weekend.

DKos: “Fulsomely” is certainly the mot juste. Many use “fulsome” as if it meant “full.” It doesn’t. It means “disgusting.”
John and Trae: Both are absolutely right, as far as they go. I know people exactly like John’s alter ego. BUT – the rioting and looting in Minnesota was primarily done by WHITE agitators – RWNJs. And I have receipts for that statement (I wish I knew how to embed a Tiktok video, but I don’t, so you;ll need to clock through.)

Sorry to her about your back pain. I would strongly encourage you to contact your Palliative Care Team Monday or early next week by phone, text or Portal to review the situation. Especially since it’s only 2 hours before your next dose of Oxycodone. There’s really no need for you to be in pain that is otherwise amenable to medication – unless you’re already taking it every four (4) hours.
And in that case, I would pursue increasing your dose – unless you’re already close to the 60 mg. tab dosing.
They might also well have some non-pharmacological suggestions.
I’m so sorry you have to endure the pain for so long before you can take another oxycodone. I wonder if morphine patches wouldn’t be a better option for you, but you might not like the possibility of dulling your senses.

BFTP: This song became my father’s favourite after I had worn the needle of the record player down, playing this album before I left home for uni. He liked it so much I bought him the album for his birthday and this song was played at his cremation on his request.
Sorry, I didn’t have time to respond but I did listen/read. I have been occupied with my Primo. I had him at the vet today because he doesn’t want to eat much among other things. That is likely because it goes in one end but fails to exit at the other. Maybe I should give him a Republican to eat! He has also lost 5 kg over the past 2 years which is too much and he is losing muscle mass. I am exhausted emotionally and physically. Even though he has lost 5 kg, he is still very heavy for me to carry. I should get the results of the blood work tomorrow or Monday latest.

Possibly but Martin took it a step further I think. I remember George and Gracie but I think she just said “Goodnight” as opposed to Martin’s “Say goodnight Dick.”. I thought of that when I wrote it.
