It’s a hot time, here in the CatBox, with the next three days forecast in the 80°s. That’s not too bad in itself, but it’s a little strange for May. Yesterday my Oncologist and I agreed that since my treatment had almost killed me from septic shock, we needed a new plan, and she had one ready. First, I’m going to have another PET Scan to verify the progress of my disease, and see if there is a tumor in my liver that they can biopsy. If there is, Evelyn will get me into a clinical trial, sponsored by the American Cancer Society. They analyze the DNA of my cancer and design an individual drug that specifically targets my cancer, without targeting me. I’ll keep you posted. Tomorrow, I’ll probably have no more than an Open Thread or a Personal Update. WWWendy will be gone this weekend. She’s driving to Wyoming for a family reunion first thing Friday morning. She will return Monday night. Please pray for her safety. As a result, my next two WWWendy days are tomorrow and Tuesday. Will I be stinky by Tuesday, or what? Happy Hump day to all!

Frankie Laine was good too. Do you know the story about his “Manhandlers” commercial? The client wanted someone who sounded like Frankie Laine, and the agency kept auditioning and couldn’t find anyone who would do. Finally someone said, “Why don’t we ask Frankie?” To their astonishment, he agreed. I don’t think it hurt him a bit.
I never actually met Joan or Mimi, but everyone knew of them. We all three went to the same high school, but Joan was older than I and Mimi was younger, both just enough that no two of us were there at the same time. (It was a three year high school.)

On a personal note here, I am locked out of gmail because I don’t have aphone whic can receive texts, ans they refuse to email ome their verfication code. So I have gone to mail dot com and established an address in the “kittymail” domain. It’s slow and the print is small, but for backup, it’s fine … and it does have the advantage that I can send pictures as pictures in the body, and don’t have to do it as an attachment. So I may be using it for that from time to time.

A liver biopsy usually isn’t something to look forward to but in your case, you’ll be glad to have one if that takes you into the clinical trial, TomCat. I’m not sure if I should keep my fingers crossed the PET-scan shows your tumour there “approachable”; it feels rather strange to do so.🤔

No state is ready to open up. Skimming through, oddly, only New York and New Jersey meet 5 out of 6 criteria to do so, but whether that can be sustained is questionable. Montana and North Dakota look good on the map because their population is so low, and therefore their number of cases would be low even if the whole state had it – compared to more populous states.
Cartoon — Perhaps we could send Trump to Windsor, Ct to see if they would do a re-enactment. After all, only a witch or warlock would presume to know everything!
Trump Virus — What a legacy, eh! Here in BC we had 9 new cases and 1 death today. Our recovery rate is 84.5%. A number of provinces have had no new cases or deaths for over a week. T’is not the case for Ontario, Québec or Alberta. We are opening up but very slowly. I can now go for physio and I am getting a haircut tomorrow!
CNN — Trump is too stupid to realise that by shutting down Twitter as he has threatened, he cuts off his own thumbs! What a blessing for everyone else. No midnight rants! He would be cutoff from his deluded fans!
MSNBC — Trump closed the border to China and that was the greatest job? From what I understand, the majority of US cases are from Europe, not China. But he keeps beating the China drum. Trump should be charged with murder but unfortunately, he owns the DoJ with his lackey Barrf in charged. There is an investigation that will go nowhere!
