May 182020
It was my hope to climb back in the saddle. but I must not be ready. I slept from 8:00 PM last night until 8:00 AM this morning. By the time I finished medical scheduling mayhem, I feel too tired to do anything else. My Oncologist plans a better anti-Republicosis med to take after next weeks infusion. My dietitian also made more suggestions. Monday Hugs. Kitty, Kitty bedtime.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I hope that you start to feel better, Tom.
But…until you do, take good, good care of yourself, and get your rest.
Don’t worry….take all the time you need.
Hugs, prayers, and positive vibes!! xo
I am relieved, and expect we all are, to know that you have gotten medical advice on the side effects and now have some viable plans. Just take care of yourself.
Here are a couple of feel-good stories to encourage all of us:
A twelve-year-old boy has developed a tool to help people stay safer from COVID
Another, and very personal, look at how nature is filling the void we have left by isolating
Also this date, in 1896, was Plessy v Ferguson decided … a decision later overturned by Brown v Board (see yesterday’s cartoon)
And here’s a new one from Beau:
Aaaaaand … New from the Lincoln Project:
They appear to be hitting every other day.
Great post, Joanne.
Really enjoy listening to Beau too.
Thanks!!
YVW. Beau is coming out with at least one, sometimes more, every day now. He’s great, isn’t he. History teachers are starting to assign some of his posts to students for extra credit. Gives me hope.
TC, take your time, nurture, even baby yourself if/as needed, we will only applaud such efforts.
‘Toon: So, was that a Communist threat, you know, like fluoridating our drinking water?
Beau is spot-on, and The Lincoln Project is telling it like it is.
It was a New Deal project, so they probably thought it was indeed a Communist threat.
I like Joanne, am relieved to hear that you’ve been speaking to your doctors. Hopefully they can come up with some helpful information to get you to feeling better.
Glad to hear that you’ve gotten some sleep, definitely something you and your body needs.
Praying that you get to feeling better soon.
Take care, TomCat
Sadly, sleeping a lot and feeling very tired is part and parcel of chemo treatment and cancer in general, but your Republicosis must make it even worse. But you managed to stay out of the hospital and have discussed it with your Oncologist, so your getting on top of things again, TomCat and that’s a very good sign.
Rest and rest some more and we’ll try and keep your readers occupied with articles and tidbits in comments. Joanne is doing a great job in that respect.
Well, that’s a bittersweet update: Bitter because you’re still down – but VERY Sweet that you’re plugged in to your medical support resources!
I join the others in saying we’re relieved that you’re keeping in touch w/ your support team!
We certainly appreciate your continuing Updates!
