Hi there,
WWW here on Tom’s behalf. Wanted to let you all know that Tom was admitted to the hospital last night for dehydration and a possible infection in his intestines. Of course, it took them 7 hours to make that decision – so we were both in a fine mood when it finally came. They tested him for trump virus and the results have not come back yet. Because of this, he is in isolation and is unable to receive visitors or any belongings from home. As you can imagine, that put him in an even more cranky mood. They are giving him yet another trump virus test today because they feel he is at high risk for the virus. He is anxious to get home back to his cat box. Unfortunately, I think this is the beginning of some yucky side effects to the chemo. We will both appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers for a quick return home. If need be, I will post another update but am hoping he will return home tomorrow.
Kind regards,
Wendy

  1. I found Wendy’s comment as the last one on his Open Thread and posted it as an article because I don’t think many people have seen it.

Wendy, could you please add any further information on TomCat’s health as a comment here so we know where to look for it? Thank you for all you’re doing for our dear friend.

  2. Thanks Wendy and Lona!

Tom, I can imagine how cranky and frustrated you are being in the hospital at this time.  You do not need any of this at all, not that anybody does for that matter.

You are in our prayers as usual and we will crank it up some!  You too Wendy.  Your angel wings are showing! 04

  3. Wendy –

Thanks so much for the info.

I’m sure you’ll keep us updated WRT new developments.

    Thank You!

  4. Thank you, both Wendy and Lona, SO MUCH!  I was so worried that I missed it entirely.  Now I’ll at least be able to sleep – still worried, but able to sleep.

I have THREE Renady Rainbows which I was going to parcel out, but I’ll take y turn tomorrow to put up an open threa with them and a couple of other tidbits.

  5. Thank you WWWendy (and Lona), for your information wrt our TomCat.

I do hope and pray for his comfort, and release from the hospital, as I can only imagine how cranky a cat can get when he/she is not in her familiar surroundings…that’s really what cats do.

Take care, TC, and see you soon! Kitty hugs!!

  6. Wishing all the best for TomCat!  I’m afraid he’s heading down a rough stretch or road. πŸ˜’πŸ™πŸΌ

  7. Wendy thank you so much for update on TomCat. I also thank Lona for posting it, since I didn’t see it yesterday.
I was concerned not seeing a post from him yesterday.
I’m so sorry to hear that TC ended up having to go to the hospital, but with the symptoms you are saying he was suffering with, it’s so much better that he’s where he will be checked out thoroughly.
He will be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
Tell him “Hello” and to “take care” for me.
    Please keep us updated.
    Thanks again.

  8. So sorry, TC, and thank you to Wendy, you’re an angel. I’m thinking hospitals are not safe places for anyone right now, so I really hope that test is negative and he can get back to safely isolating very quickly.

  9. TC and Wendy, we offered up prayers for you both at church (virtual) today.  After the service, several people asked me how you were doing and hope this passes quickly in a positive way.

Please take care both of you!  Blessings

  10. Sorry to hear that Tom Cat is having such a terrible time of it. Hope he gets back soon and his test comes back negative.

  11. Be well Tom Cat!

  12. Thanks for update, Wendy. I had been wondering about TC—-feline intuition. Sorry to hear it, but hope he is getting good care from our heroic healthcare workers. Please keep us informed.

  13. Thank you all, especially Wendy and Lona.  Wendy just brought me home.  The chemo slammed my immune system and I caught an intestinal bug.  I feel exhausted, but I hope to touch base tomorrow.  Hugs to all.

  14. Wow!
I was absent from PP, and much other routine stuff recently, just saw this tonight…a few minutes ago.
I’m glad you are back home, TC, and I thank you, Wendy, for your ministering to TC’s needs. Needless to say, the road ahead is going to be both bumpy, and full of potholes.  Hang in! We are with you!

  15. Oh! Such wonderful news!!
So very glad to see that you are back home, and resting, TomCat!
Please DO get your cat naps in too.
Take your time…Rest & Relax! and take it easy!!

  16. Thanks again everyone.  I’m still feeling totally pooped, but have a personal update to post momentarily.  Hugs!
