Itβs that time of week again, and here are five excellent video clips from Samβs show last night. Enjoy!!
Introducing: Coronavirus For Her!
Women and especially female health care workers, putting themselves at risk, are heroes, unlike the Republicans responsible for killing them off with Trump* virus.
The 2020 Election: What Do You Have To Lose?
Stacey for VP? Works for me!
Dang! It’s almost impossible to get TP with criminal Fuhrer Trumpβs* face on it. Is that because TP is in short supply, or because so many want to wipe their ass on an asshole?
Stay Home and Fill Out Your 2020 Census!
I did! Did you?
There IS Crying in Baseball…And Everywhere Else
Will Trump* virus kill football too? AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Great show from Sam!

W/watch this evening!
Thanks, Tom.
I – Yes. Women are better than men at customer service jobs. I suspect that is more nurture than nature, but regardless, yes. And customer service doesn’t pay very well (that’s how employers mostly get around equal pay laws.) Everything Sam is pointing out is so right on I can hardly stand to even comment.
II – Yes, Stacey’s name has come up. One up side is that tapping Stacey doesn’t rob the Senate. One down side is that she is less well known nationally than most of the other possibilities. There is no question that she would be a dynamite VP. Unfortunately, American voters have a long history of rejecting more dynamite candidates, at all levels of government, than they accept. Hey, I don’t know the answer. I do know we cannot win without the active support of black voters. (I’ve been saying that for years.) We certainly could do worse – a whole lot worse!
III – I have to laugh … but then, I always stock up on TP when I buy any … and that happened just before the quarantine orders … so I am fine on that score. I do feel for people who don’t and didn’t.
IV – I don’t think anyone here hasn’t reported – we’ve been giving regular reminders. I might just add, i case anyone missed it, the Census Bureau is now saying you can respond on line even if you don’t have your number that they mailed out. It is as important as voting — in a way it IS voting.
V – I have been staying at home except for essential shopping for years – but there is one change in my routine. I panic. I panic when I don’t hear from friends or family for a while. The radio station I have listened to for 30 years is doing its best to keep going 24/7 (some pre-recordings and some automation do help), and when an announcer doesn’t make a scheduled shift, I panic.
I’m sticking with Sen. Kamala Harris.
[1] Mostly because I think she adds more to the ticket than anyone else.
[2] It puts her in prime position to become the FIRST woman president.
[3] It would have NO effect on the numbers in the Senate. (not familiar w/ how California handles vacancies, but it would either elect another Democrat or Gov. Newsom would appoint one.)
Only downside is that it would obviously eliminate her as a fantastic AG to replace Barr.
I would be fine with Kamala too, but here are my concerns. In the southern primaries she pulled virtually no black support from Joe, so I think a Black Southern woman like Stacey could help deliver the south better than a left-coaster. Also, Kamala tends to be centrist, like Joe. I’d prefer someone more progressive.
I’d be fine w/ Stacey – or Amy or Liz or Val Demings (although I’m concerned w/ her lack of name recognition).
They all have pluses and minuses.
As long as she isn’t a DINO!
Resist and Persist Tom Cat.π·
Resist and Persist all of you!π·
Sam 1: Yep woman are better at their jobs. Always having to prove to their bosses/companies. Really too bad that they aren’t treated/paid equally.
Sam 2: I’m all for Stacey for V.P.
Sam 3: It’s crazy trying to get T.P. here. I’ve checked at stores when I’m out due to appointments. Plus tried to order online from Costco, Walmart and even Sam Club. No luck. Shelves are totally empty for all paper products. It’s insane. I have both IBS and IBD issues on different days. So I’m getting a little concern.
Sam 4: I did my census online over a week ago.
Sam 5: I bought season tickets for 10 baseball games. who knows where or what will become of them?
I’ll have to save these for later and my internet connection is a bit faster. So many people working from home and children following classes that my satellite internet connection can’t keep up with the demand, so I don’t watch too many videos during the day to give priority to those who need it the most.
Thanks and TGIF Hugs to all!
