It’s a hectic day here in the CatBox, as medical mayhem is back in the driver’s seat. For some reason my Medicare Advantage premiums stopped being deducted from my social security check, so I have to pay the bill and get it fixed again. In addition, I have to call the hospital to get my stress test scheduled before my endoscopy (camera in stomach). Lisa (Cardiologist) tipped me off that, once the hospital finds the stress test ordered, they will delay the endoscopy until after the stress test, and you know how much trouble I had scheduling that endoscopy. Today is also a grocery order day and the first day of the Bought Bitch Midnight Moscow Mitch Show. ARGH! Have a great day!
Later: I scheduled the stress test and straightened out the Medicare Advantage premiums. Social Security Refusing to deduct Medicare Advantage premiums is a gift to American Seniors from Trump* and the Republican Reich. I have put it on my card automatically.

Oh, great. I’ve never asked for my Part D to be taken from my SS – or I suppose I would have run into that also. (I don;t have it automatically on the card, either – I do it manually every month. I can do this reliably because i have it on my pop-up calendar; otherwise, I’m sure I’d sometimes forget.) Glad you have the stress test scheduled. PITA indeed, but in a good cause.

MSNBC – I might point out this was in Virginia, which just, as a state, turned blue – and I’m sure there’s a connection between the turning blue and this event. However, there were Incels from all over the nation, and apparently it’s been verified there was one at least from Canada. Actually, it was in an article on this event where I found that Driftglass quote i used in my previous paragraph.

I got the stitches out of my left hand today.
On Thursday, the hospital will calling me to tell me what I can and can’t eat or take, like vitamins, for the February 7th major operation, partial simple vulvectomy. I’m getting nervous about it, knowing that it’s takes so long to recover after the surgery, 6-8 weeks.

I’m so glad you’re not the paranoid type of cat, otherwise, you’d surely feel someone was out to get you. Although it may not be personal, the way a government just stops providing an important service, such as stopping with deducting Medicare Advantage premiums from social security checks without informing the client and in that way possibly causing great financial trouble when bills need to be paid, may feel like something done on purpose, a fiendish plot even.
