I was up all night last night with Republicosis and severe heartburn; the latter persists. I hope to be in the saddle for a day tomorrow. TGIF Hugs to all.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
I could not do it (average 4:49). To do it, click here. How did you do?

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
OH! I do hope and pray for your wellness, Tom.
Get your rest, stay hydrated, take your pills, relax, nap, eat small portions, and go back to bed. (did I remember everything?)
Hugs rightbackatcha!! Take good, good care, Tom. Get well.
This just in: “Everyone dies.” ~ William Barr ~ “Spoken like a true kamakazi.” ~ L & D. ~
2. “Seems kind of weird that dt would permit his attorney to represent someone ‘he doesn’t even know’ when he was arrested on the charges he received.” ~ Michelle F. ~
3. “A black woman delivered the Articles of Impeachment for a white supremacist president to the Senate on MLK’s real birthday.” ~ Cheryl J. ~
4. “dt is pretending he doesn’t know Lev Parnas (pleeze…! he’s worked for Fred and don for years. Claims he (dt) d/n need election help from foreign governments, while he is actively soliciting election meddling from foreign governments on his behalf.” ~ Sarah R.J. ~
5. “dt is saving those pardons for his kids. They may not inherit anything else. ~ Chris M.~
4. “dt is pretending he doesn’t know Lev Parnas …
And a great rejoinder to that claim:
4:19 Blue macaws are about as smart as African gray parrots – but African grays are much nicer. At least to their own respective species.
I do know what you mean about physical issues getting in the way of the puzzle – and everything else. Not surprised, but still sorry and saddened that your stressful day would lead to issues.
Some horrid Republican ethics not directly connected to DT for a change
Cartoon – The last good Republican, pretty much. Not totally, I guess – Mark Hatfield was still around after Ike was out of office.
Yes, I’m late today, and going to be later tomorrow, and I’ll just re-use yesterday’s graphic.
Sorry, JD, I didn’t see you had beaten the puzzle average by far until I did the puzzle and entered my time. You’re getting really good at it and doing that regularly now, aren’t you? Good on ya.
Actually I’m getting slower. There was a time, a few years, when, though I don’t think I ever beat TC, I could consistently beat the average. Now, not so much. However, I can still knit just as well, and, between the two eye-hand coordination skills, I like the one I have,
Hope you start feeling better soon!
Your heartburn wouldn’t be aggravated by any of the prescription or over-the-counter medication you take, would it, TomCat? Hope you feel better soon 😘😘😘
3:29 No fun competing the average, TomCat.
Cartoon: Boy, how spot-on was Ike?
Lona, my PCP, my gastroenterologist, my pharmacist, and I have all gone over my meds list with a fine tooth comb. Thanks!
Feel better!
Ike helped to bring us Nixon, but as a real non-politician was so much better than any of the following GOPIGGY ones.
Pat’s #3 rocks. But, then the Empty Orange strikes back, from his own Evil Empire:

I sure hope you get to feeling better, TC.
Will continue praying for you.
Take care. Thanks TomCat
Puzzle — 6:04 I have not done them for some time because my hands shake too much making a decent time a thing of the past.
Cartoon — Republicans now would call Ike a Democrat. I call him a patriot unlike the current resident of the WH. I read somewhere, probably AlterNet, that Trump was considering awarding himself the Medal of Honour. I sure hope that if he tries that, he is stopped! He neither shows or has any honour except dishonour!
I hope you get to feeling better soon and very glad that the doc doesn’t think you have cancer. You are in our prayers daily Puddy Tat.
It was actually the Medal of Freedom. That’s the civilian equivalent to the Medal of Honor.
Lona’s question is worthy of consideration TC–as part of a conversation with your doctor, perhaps, given its frequency in preventing normal activities.Might be options to manage it better and/or reduce intensity and/or frequency.Wonder how history would have changed had Ike chosen to run as a DEM (he had the choice of party).
Pat: now Pence is making that claim as Nunes no longer is and DT’s at odds with the evidence…
Thanks and heartburn hugs to all!
I guess there are people our age whose PCP does not have a complete list of everything we take, prescription and OTC, internal and external, right down to creams and lotions, and reviewed and updated at least every two years … but I’m not one of them, and, clearly, TC isn’t either, from his answer to Lona.
