Just a little pet peeve of mine – but I’ve always considered the years ending in zero to be the last years of the previous decade (century, millennium), not the first years of the new one. When I count, I never start “zero, one, two…”

CNN: Here he goes again. He’s getting to be like tRump when it comes to speaking before thinking. I honestly don’t agree with his thought, hopefully it’s like Joanne’s link shows, it’s false.
BFTP: Remember the great song like it was out today being played on the radio. The Beach Boys were a big favorite with all of the people I grew up with that lived in the beach areas.
Hope you have New Year’s Eve. Other than just going to have my fish salad at Rubio’s. I will be here watching one of the New Year Eve shows on TV.

RR: The 0.01% have had an outrageous return on investment, haven’t they? And they’ll do anything, I mean anything, to protect these investments. The For The People Act is waiting to be put to good use, the Act itself a very positive thing, but what are the chances that it will be dusted off in 2021? Call me a pessimist, but I’ve seen some completely mad things happen in politics all over the world, and though I hope with every fibre in my being that Trump will be out on his ear, or rather in prison, by 2021 because this will bring balance back to the current global right-wing tilt, his reelection will bring me despair, but not surprise.
CNN: If Joe Biden is to be the Democrats’ great hope against Trump and for giving the For The People Act a new lease on life, think again. Nominating Biden may have the same effect as nominating Clinton instead of Sanders in 2016. His campaign is becoming more of his ego not wanting to fail again and saying anything to get those votes. Sounds familiar?
