It’s a tired day here in the CatBox. WWWendy sheared me quite well yesterday, and it’s wonderful to be able to scratch itches on my scalp again. I feel a bit tired, but I plan no trips out before my procedure a week from Tuesday. Oh God, It’s Monday!

CNN – Well, “dotard” was the word English-speaking people used to describe senility and Alzheimer’s before those terms existed or were understood. It gets more and more applicable everyday.
Other JD – I’ve seen multiple cartoons on the Lincoln poll, but they kind of run together because there is only one sane take on the abominable idea. And I not that he is correct – that no sane person puts pictures of a politician for God’s sake all over their personal property. Any politician. Not Lincoln. Not FDR. Even Washington – people did go a little nuts for – But not to this point. Frankly they didn’t even go this nut for Hitler, who invited it.

CNN: Unlike Trump, Kim Jung-un watches real world-news and not only the propaganda he feeds his people. He started his personal “dotard” attacks on Trump and his nuclear threats on America as soon as he saw how Trump’s allies at the Nato 25 were talking about him and how out-of-control and demented Trump was. Unlike Trump, Kim Jung-un is politically smart and will increase the pressure on Trump, knowing Trump is ready to snap. Let’s hope Kim doesn’t overplay his hand and have Trump think a diversion by invading/bombing North Korea is a good idea.
Other JD: Yes, the GOP has turned into a cult alright. And that pinpoints the problem. No reasoning; no amount of facts; nothing will convince someone trapped in a cult to look at things differently. It is completely irrational by nature. The only thing that counts is the knowledge thre are others like them in that cult and the feeling of belonging it gives them. How on earth are you going to deprogram millions of people? 😵
