I certainly join you, along with Beto, Kamala, and Julian (and probably all the others, but those are the ones whose tweets I’ve seen) in wishing Bernie a speedy recovery. I gather it was caught early enough to make that probable, thank God. For any Jews who want to pray for him by his Hebrew name, it’s Bunyamin bin Devorah.

Back in June, I wrote about Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis suing former patients, including their own employees, for unpaid medical bills. Today I learned from Mother Jones’s Recharge newsletter that a joint investigation by Pro Publica and MLK50 e-magazine, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare has become so shamed as to wipe out pretty much all of that debt.

Those are the uncontrolled imagenings of a todler on its way of becoming a psychotic and sadistic serial killer. Kamela Harris is right; there are no words to describe it, but worse, in a sane world kandidates in spe for an election would never have to be asked what they think of these thoughts and this behaviour of the current president.
