The same thing happened to Trump when he was in college. Since someone pushed Trump’s penis into her hand, she hasn’t stopped laughing. The President of the Ukraine hasn’t stopped laughing yet either. Absent America’s racist history, I think Trudeau intended no affront.

Monologue – Everything Bill touched on, he nailed. Well, except that Democrats are at “Oh well, we tried.”
For a Fact – Some are accurate, others not so much.
Power – “Expertise is not valued” That may even be an understatement.
New Rules – I could almost feel sorry for Sean Spicer after that DWTS appearance. Catch-23 – oh, my, that’s a good one.

You said it, TomCat – Cheat-oh’s behavior perfectly reflects just how far the GOP has degenerated. They may have passed the point of no return. Let us hope the USA hasn’t. Samantha power is absolutely right – we need to rebuild our institutions, a lot of them. And even getting that started will take some seriously radical change. Flipping the White House and Senate, and maintaining the Blue majority in the House, are just Step One on a very long journey. We can’t let Communist, oppressive China become the Top Dog.

Looks like you’ve been using “Colleen L.” but put “Colleen Lobel” on this one.The blog thought you were someone else making a first comment. One of us admins, being human, will recognize you and approve it when we see it any time something is different and it goes to moderation.
JD Beat me to it and is spot on. They get approved pretty quick, and If you post Lobel again, it won’t be held. I think we have half a dozen iterations of Mitch.
I — US – Russia – Ukraine = un mélange à trois. I have to say that there are some men of colour who were with Trudeau at a party who were not offended because it was a themed party and there was no attempt to malign anyone. Was it a little stupid to do what Trudeau did? Absolutely! But was it a conscious decision to be intolerant or malicious? I do not believe it was. One has to ask and think about “would this even be a topic of conversation or concern if there was no federal election 21 October 2019?”. I don’t think so. BTW, do like the length of our election campaign? The writ was dropped 21/09/19 so only 40 days of campaigning. Sure beats the 2 years (or 4 years if you’re Trump) in the US!
II — Justin Trudeau is sure getting the press. One thing thought, he is a red Liberal not a blue Conservative.
III — AMEN!!! Kudos to Samantha Power. Looks like there is another book that I will be reading. Can you just imagine her and Trump in a “discussion” . . . she’d clean the floor with him! Although I doubt he’d have a discussion with her — he hates strong blue women.
IV — “Biden being Biden” LMAO!!!
Bill #1: I think American comedians are rather happy with Trudeau’s ‘brown’ facing; they have finally someone else to make jokes about. But they should leave Trudeau alone because (1) he’s Canadian, a country which didn’t have the same racial sensitivities America had and has and (2) he wasn’t black facing but adopting a brown colour to go with a sheik’s costume. No nasty intent there; the only thing you could accuse him of was not being very creative and thinking up a new custome now and again. But of course the Canadian opposition (= their right wing) will try to milk this as much as possible in their election campaign; there’s little else to milk.
Bill #2: Funny, but I didn’t get the Trump joke. What has he shredded in his salt shaker?
Bill #3: Interesting lady, intresting interview.

I think it was Adderall but it still is vague — Adderall: “a synthetic drug that stimulates the sympathetic and central nervous systems, used to treat attention deficit disorder and narcolepsy. It is a mixture of amphetamine derivatives.”
Thanks, Lynn. Sounds exactly right, just the stuff this dementia-suffering would need to keep him going. Could also explain why he can’t get to sleep and twitters instead.
