It’s a busy day here in the CatBox. I had a bit of computer maintenance to do, in addition to scheduling my Lift Bus ride for Monday’s medical appointment and a medical waste exchange for my sharps container. Liz – Yes, Russia elected Trump. But they didn’t do it without our cooperation. Maybe it wouldn’t have been possible to prevent it in 2016. But if, in the Eighties, we had seen clearly the direction this was going, and refused to be dragged to the right, maybe the train that ran away in 2016 could have been stopped before that happened. But I also have to say, those millions of people who voted for him are still with us And, with them around, we are still in trouble.
Trump – Republicans ALWAYS blame victims. To the point that a person who does’t have a moral compass and wants to act morally anyway, can actually use Republicans as a guide. Whoever they are blaming, those are the people who need help. Whoever they are praising, those are the crooks. (And if he thinks it’s so great to sleep on I-95, he’s close enough to try it and see how he likes it.)
Bibi – You know, going back to Liz’s remark, while it’s tough to grasp what happened here, how hard it is to wrap one’s mind around Bibi being elected by a nation of Holocaust survivors? Please not that I am not accusing any particular Holocaust survivors, or any Holocaust survivors at all, of voting for him. But it did take us 240 years to get from the founding fathers to Trump, It only took Israel 70 years to go from the Holocaust to Bibi. If I find that grievously tragic, just think how sane Jewish people must feel.
Warren is damned beautiful!!! Ok, Russia helped elect Donny Boy, but Russia did not get ALL those idiot millions to vote for him. See the Alternate article in the earlier post. by TC.
MSNBC: Notice how he never actually states what he is talking about, and then goes on to lie, to make up history on the spot!
CNN: I obviously do not know how the election will come out, but I am pleased to hear that BB’s attempt to bring, apparently, even more religious based leverage into the gov’t has failed. If he is indeed guilty of the charges that can lead to an indictment, it will be wonderful to see his own country send him to jail. What a marvelous precedent for democracy, in the time of OUR troubles!

LS: Liz is spot on and it is no use blaming Russia for the mess America is in now. It was American hands who filled in those ballot papers, not Russian ones. The country needs to face that there are millions of people around who put Trump where he is now and many more who’ll do anything to keep him and themselves there. It needs to acknowledge that America may have had a little push but got where it wanted to go on its own accord if anything is to be learned from this and change can set n.
MSNBC: This is just another example of his complete madness; this is what the ABC reported on it “…he will ask the Environmental Protection Agency (emphasis mine) to issue a notice to the city in less than a week.
Mr Trump said the issue was an environmental one because “tremendous pollution”, including syringes used by homeless addicts to inject drugs, was flowing into the Pacific Ocean from Bay Area cities. Really, the EPA? Need I say anything more? This is so absurdly mad it doesn’t warrant any more attention.
CNN: His call for an election, only severeal months after the previous one, has backfired and has brought the center-left and the Arab parties closer together, now willing to talk to eachother for the first time. Let’s hope the final count leaves Netanyahu powerless to buid a new government because if he does succeed in forming one it’ll be the worst extreme-rightist coalition in the modern history of Israel and and the last Palestinian city onthe West-Bank, Hebron, will be annexed within weeks.
