It’s that time of week again, and here are four excellent video clips from Sam’s show last night. Enjoy!
A Message to Democratic Presidential Candidates: Run For Senate, Goddammit!
That applies to a handful of candidates. We need the Senate almost as much as we need the White House.
How To Take Reparations From The Hypothetical To Reality!
I’m all for reparations, as long as we take the money to pay for it from rich families and companies that benefited from slavery or racist northern exploitation of black workers.
US Women’s Soccer: Just Pay Them Already!
Amen, Sam!
Mitch McConnell: Dry Rot of Democracy
Sam, I hate to disagree but isn’t that an insult to dry rot? The rot that is Bought Bitch Mitch is slimy and loaded with orange excrement.
Great show, Sam!
RESIST!!

Love Sam!!
W/watch later this evening, Thx, Tom.
Sam – Act 1 – Oh, I didn’t realize Bullock didn’t make the cut. I agree he should run for the Senate. I had heard of him, actually, and I have the impression he’s no Eugene V. Debs, but he is a Democrat. I don’t want Hickenlooper in the Senate or as President or VP. I DO want to keep Bennet in the Senate. Two people are already running gainst Cory Gardner, Mike Johnstone and Andrew Romanoff – Romanoff is my choice but I will vote for whoever winds the nimination. I agree Joni Ernst is vulnerable, but it will require WORK.
Act 2 – I would expect nothing less from Ta-Nehisi Coates that his detailed historically sound putdown of Mitch McConnell (for which he was given enthusiastic applause). I had heard of Georgetown and its confrontation with reparations – though insufficient and incomplete, at least it is something. So was affirmative action, which Republicans managed to destroy. But affirmative action, while necessary, is not sufficient.
Act 3 – This ties back into who should get reparations. Instead of “everyone but white people,” how about “everyone but straight white men.”
Act 4 – Dry rot is insidious. McConnell is blatant. Yeah, calling him “dry rot” is probably an insult to dry rot.
Here in Georgia, a lot of us would like to see Stacey Abrams run for the Senate – and get rid of that dork Perdue, who NEVER listens to his constituents!
Even in the other 49 states, a lot of us would love to see Stacey Abrams run for the Senate!
Sad to see she has withdrawn herself from consideration. Not only do I think she would’ve had a very good chance of winning, but it would have helped to make Georgia competitive on the presidential contest, too.
I’d love to see it.
Me too!
Good one, Sam.
I too would like to see Stacey Abrams run for senate. We need new fresher ones in and the old ones out.
Thanks and Hugs to all.
