It’s that time of week again, and here are three excellent video clips from Sam’s show last night. Enjoy!

YouTube should regulate underage content. Until they do, and that may be a long, long time, the onus falls on parents to keep videos that could be suggestive of their kids offline.

Sam – Act 1 – I agree, of course, that this is nauseating. I also agree that an algorithm is only a tool, and that there are ways to make it work better. I doubt, however, that there are any ways to make it work perfectly. Algorithms have in common with Republicans that they cannot see any shades of gray. They just do what they are told.

Act 2 – You can probably go back past Amway to Tupperware. But they used to have products that were useful, and they used to work for people, provided the people were natural salespeople. And they didn’t use to be all about recruiting. But, between more and more actual jobs being taken by computers now, and the nation (and for all I know the world) sliding into a gig economy, pyramid schemes is what you get.

Act 3 – PBS “American Experience” aired an episode on the Stonewall Rebellion (which they call the Stonewall Uprising). It aired Tuesday. but you can still watch it HERE. I haven’t seen it and won’t guarantee it tells the full story, but I’m pretty confident it at least won’t contain lies.
