It’s a very busy day here in the CatBox. It’s grocery delivery day and WWWendy day. I slept poorly, because the room was too hot until late. Hump Day Hugs!

The Special Counsel’s Office
Washington, D.C. 20330
March 27,2019
The Honorable William P. Barr
Attorney General of the United States
Department of Justice
Washington, D.C.
Re: Report of the Special Counsel on the Investigation Into Russian Interference in the
2016 Presidential Election and Obstruction of Justice (March 2019)
Dear Attorney General Barr:
I previously sent you a letter dated March 25, 2019, that enclosed the introduction and
executive summary for each volume of the Special Counsel’s report marked with redactions to
remove any information that potentially could be protected by Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure
6(e); that concerned declination decisions; or that related to a charged case. We also had marked
an additional two sentences for review and have now confirmed that these sentences can be
released publicly.
Accordingly, the enclosed documents are in a form that can be released to the public
consistent with legal requirements and Department policies. I am requesting that you provide these
materials to Congress and authorize their public release at this time.
As we stated in our meeting of March 5 and reiterated to the Department early in the
afternoon of March 24, the introductions and executive summaries of our two-volume report
accurately summarize this Office’s work and conclusions. The summary letter the Department
sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not ftilly capture
the context, nature, and substance of this Office’s work and conclusions. We communicated that
concern to the Department on the morning of March 25. There is now public conftision about
critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose
for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the
outcome of the investigations. See Department of Justice, Press Release (May 17, 2017).
While we understand that the Department is reviewing the ftill report to determine what is
appropriate for public release—a process that our Office is working with you to complete—?that
process need not delay release of the enclosed materials. Release at this time would alleviate the
misunderstandings that have arisen and would answer congressional and public questions about
the nature and outcome of our investigation. It would also accord with the standard for public
2
release of notifications to Congress cited in yoxir letter. See 28 C.F.R. § 609(c) (“the Attorney
General may determine that public release” of congressional notifications “would be in the public
interest”).
Sincerely yours,
Robert S. Mueller, III
Special Counsel

From Vox: Herman Cain isn’t the only controversial person Trump has considered for the Federal Reserve board. This week, Senate Republicans are wrestling with another pick the president has floated for the financial body: conservative commentator Stephen Moore.
Moore has yet to be officially nominated, but an outcry over sexist writings he’s previously published deriding women’s involvement in sports could mean that it might not even happen.
Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst, the fourth-ranking Republican in the Senate conference, has been among the most vocal member of the GOP in sounding the alarm about a number of columns Moore wrote for National Review in the early 2000s.
If he were not vile, Trump would not nominate him. RESIST!!

Rachel – I knew you’d be on to this, and I’m sure (I’m just starting to watch as I type) Rachel is on to how extraordinary it is for Mueller to “go to paper.” To his superior. And, yes, he is extremely angry.
Vox – Stephen Moore (I knew a Stephen Moore once; I’m sure it’s not the same one) is absolutely in keeping with the aims of the Republican party. See this article (BBA for photo of BBM – and contents). I surely never expected to say “Good luck, Joni Ernst,” and mean it, in this lifetime.
Cartoon – That’s more than enough to cause the poor elephant to suffer (and to bring it closer to extinction.)
MSNBC: Barr is unworthy of the job as AG, and for covering up for his boss. He’s lying, and yes, worthy of going to jail for his lies, and Barr’s omissions of Mueller’s summaries. Resign!, Barr!! Thank you, for taking the time to get this out here, too, Tom. Appreciate it.
Vox: Isn’t getting people in his cabinet, to do what the ‘Hairplug Himmler’ wants… his motive? Of course it is.Can’t get any worse than this guy! (or can it?) considering who’s in with him…at this point in time. ugh!!!
Cartoon: I like elephants. I don’t like them being paraded around providing rides to people. They should be living in the wilderness, enjoying their life, with their family. Unlike those (R’s), who want to maim, kill, and ride their backs. Disgusting.
Hi, WWWendy! How are you doing? Hope that you get a chance to rest and relax this afternoon/evening. Take good care, and Thanks, Tom.

Moore would be terrible as a Federal Reserve nominee. Good that Ernst is speaking up. And of course we count on Susan Collins of Maine to remain the “Senator of Perpetual Concern”.
Barr’s appearance today was unbelievable. He’s not acting as the Attorney General – he’s acting as Twitler’s personal lawyer!
I’ll give some credit though …

MSNBC: Disgraceful is the word I have for barf bArr. Sick of seeing and hearing him sitting with the members of congress; not answering their question. Just pleasing his leader. How much longer do we have to take this crap?? He needs to go to prison for his evilness, just like his boss.
Vox: Despicable idiot and he keeps picking the bad apples.
Hope you have a better night. Hope you got your OTC stuff you mentioned yesterday too.
3:25 Geraniums taste terrible.
MSNBC: Mueller’s letter certainly makes it clear that Barrf’s truthfulness is to be taken with a couple of pounds of salt, and today’s performance during the hearing underlines that. Barff may not have been lying this time, but then he simply, and arrogantly, refused to answer questions that would have put him on the spot. This man is a disgrace to the office of AG, and his nomination to the office by Drumpf and his approval by Republicans is that too. But it is also exactly the reason why Barrf will ultimately not be impeached.
Vox: How many more grubby “friends” does Drumpf owe a favour to which has him finding a job, any job, for them?
Cartoon: More than any real elephant can bear and hopefully soon more than the party emblem can accommodate with its dwindling number of office bearers.
Thanks and sick hugs.
Thank you for all the information Tom cat,I hope you manage to sleep better soon and please try and keep cool in your catbox.
