From The Guardian: …Bernie Sanders will finish a four-day tour of Trump Country on Monday, with a town hall on the president’s favorite network: Fox News.
It is an unexpected partnership, between a self-described democratic socialist and a media outlet that dedicates primetime to pundits who rail against a purported “creep” of socialism.
The event will be staged in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a state Trump won by less than 1%, and it will be moderated by Fox anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
Sanders is the first Democratic presidential candidate to appear on the network for such an event. He says it is a way to speak directly to Trump supporters, to make the case that the president is a “pathological liar” who has misled the working class. The booking is also important for Fox News, which was banned from hosting a Democratic primary debate.
Among Democrats, the booking has drawn criticism. Progressive groups are urging presidential contenders to boycott the network whose stream of pro-Trump commentary has led critics to liken it to unofficial “state TV”.
As much as I detest the Republican Reichsministry of Propaganda, Faux Noise, I’m trying to remain open minded about this. The huge number of voters in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin get all their propaganda from Faux Noise. That may be the only way to expose them to truth about their Fuhrer. Nevertheless, I won’t be watching it. RESIST!!
From Alternet: CNN’s John Avlon on Monday ran down years’ worth of President Donald Trump’s lies in a short three-minute video.
During his “Reality Check” segment titled “Does Trump know we have video of his speeches?”, Avlon took the president and his White House to task for constantly reversing positions they’ve held in the past — and then shamelessly lying about it.
I’d make a two-faced graphic of Trump, except for one thing. No barf bag is big and strong enough to contain the response. RESIST!!

You know, after publishing Everyday Erinyes #162, I saw this, and I’m thinking maybe the Furies can take their time a little.
MSNBC – Sarah Huckleberry doesn’t know much about anything, does she? You know, I just saw one frame from an old Robert Reich clip, which pointed out that one reason a special counsel might be fired would be for violating Department policy. Well, indicting a sitting President violates Department policy. That also must be considered concerning Mueller’s decision not to indict.
Guardian – I won’t be watching either. However, as I’ve said before, there is a difference between allowing Faux to moderate a debate and one person voluntarily appearing on Faux to reach out on specific issues. I’m fine in principle with Bernie doing this, and wish him the best. Regardless what else happens, we should learn something about if and how this is to be done by others.
CNN – Ha! Trump is ugly enough to say (as Lincoln did) “If I had two faces, would I be wearing this one?” But he never will. He thinks he looks WONDERFUL (Barf).
Cartoon – Yeah. Well, the IRS can only administer the law. Don’t blame them. Blame the (Republican) Congress that past the current rapey tax program.

MSNBC: Barr protecting his president from the report. Why doesn’t dt just release his taxes? Well, imho, he likes the drama, and he’s skirting the issue of the report due to come out this week. If he has no worries about anything that he’s done, why not release them? Watching Sarah is like having a bad toothache. It won’t go away, till the tooth is gone.

MSNBC: tRump continues to play games with his flipping taxes. Really must have lots to hide. Sooner or later the truth will come out. Hopefully it will be soon. Sarah is a flipping joke. Seeing her yesterday morning on This week with George S, sucked. What comes out of the marked up/torn thru report Barr releases on Thursday, I can hardly wait to hear what it states. I honestly hope Mueller speaks out if a good amount is missing.

MSNBC: The redacted report is just more stalling. “The redacted Mueller report could be out as early as Tuesday.” NO! Barrf has promised it within a week. Nobody should bother with the redacted, or rather rewritten, rag, throw it in the bin and demand the full report. Stop allowing Drumpf to stall.
TG: I expect Bernie’s speeches will be as much ‘redacted’ by Faux News before broadcasting as Mueller’s report is by Barff.
CNN: Three minutes? This item could have been 60 minutes long and still not have covered all Drumpf’s turns and back-flips. We all know he’s demented, but sometimes that is also a case of convenient dementia…Uh, I don’t remember…I know nothing about…

MSNBC — I heard on the news that Barrf will have the redacted report out on Thursday. IMO, the Dark Lord is as guilty as sin and that will never change. It will be interesting to read it. I also hope that appropriate congressional committees can compel Mueller to testify. Very interesting series. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place. And the potential of indicting a sitting POTUS is in play today. The Dark Lord is such an asshole as are all his minions!

Tuesday is the birthday of my two boys . . . they will be 11 years old. We will celebrate with roast chicken. My physiotherapist will be away and he thought bringing his two love birds over for me to babysit would be a great idea. He asked if the cats would bother the birds. I just told him to give me a key to the house. I am sure the birds would die of fright not to mention that my Winnie would likely succeed at opening their cage.
