It’s a frigid day here at the CatBox, and I was starting to wonder if we would need to rebuild the site from scratch. We were 90%+ crashed since early Friday afternoon, until this morning. Our graphic comment editor crashed the site, so I had to take it out, along with all it’s bells and whistles that we all loved. 🙁 WordPress plans WYSIWYG comment editing with the next major release. Please do not use links in comments, unless you know how to edit it to blank the target. In hope of preventing this, I invested in a utility to backup the core elements of the site. This will be today’s only article, and I should be back in the saddle tomorrow.

In a short video released Monday morning, Hickenlooper pledged to fight what he referred to as a crisis that threatens everything America stands for, as a picture of President Trump flashed on the screen, “As a skinny kid with Coke bottle glasses and a funny last name. I’ve stood up to my fair share of bullies. Standing tall when it matters is one of the things that really drives me.

Hick – He’s fine as a human being. He’s less strong on climate than I would like (speaking of which, I await your comments on Inslee). If he gets the nomination I’ll support him. Wonkette has a very snarky article on him (of course all their articles are snarky.) It’s factually correct and includes my reasons for wishing he were stronger on climate. Methane isn’t everything.

I did send an email, but I know you’re busy. The one problem is one can’t change the size. This one wasn’t that much too big so I left it. And I’ve been careful for at least a year now to size them before I upload.

I’m assuming you get the URL from the Media Library. When that window is open, right below the picture is “Edit Image” – click it and change the scale.

CNN — Trump “Robert Mueller never received a vote, and neither did the person who appointed him …” — Of course not you jackass! YOU appointed Rod Rosenstein so there is no need of a vote. The appointment of Mueller was within the job parameters of the Deputy AG, Rosenstein, especially since the AG, Elf Sessions, recused himself. Trump truly is stupid, but then so are his supporters who haven’t a clue that he is hoodwinking them.
Trump on socialism: “They [Democrats] want to replace individual rights with total government domination.” — what a pile of bullshit! Those Republicans at CPAC were clapping like seals and certainly not trained seals. It is interesting and telling how so many Americans conflate socialism with communism. They may have some commonalities, but they are distinctly different.

NPR — I don’t think Hickenlooper has the national name recognition of other candidates. But then I don’t really know about Inslee’s name recognition either. Inslee certainly is strong on the environment and trying to counter Trump’s environmental screwing of the country.
