From The New Yorker: Donald J. Trump has dispatched the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, to Saudi Arabia to provide what the White House on Thursday called “essential lying advice and assistance.”
According to the counsellor to the President Kellyanne Conway, “The President was not happy with the quality of lies coming out of the Saudi royal family, and who better to fix that than Sarah Sanders?”
Sources close to Sanders said that the press secretary was “horrified” during her first meeting in Riyadh to discover that the crown prince’s lying skills were “rudimentary at best.”
Dang Andy! The Fuhrer is really serious. Upchuckabee-Sanders is his biggest BS gun! RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

RR – Note that one of the three simple fixes involves MORE IMMIGRATION. Along with all the other reasons we need tham, they help offset the graying of America, and provide new blood to fill Social Securoty, not to bloating, but to where it can continue to meet its obligations indefinitely.

Reich:
Fix 1 – Raise the cap on Social Security and Medicare taxes, hell! Let’s get rid of it altogether!
Fix 2 – That makes far too much sense for Republicans to support it.
Fix 3 – Immigrants, documented or not, pay taxes one way or another.
And the not-mentioned but should-be-obvious Fix 4 – raise the age at which people can start drawing Social Security. I know this idea will p*ss off a lot of people, but consider the following. When Social Security was started, the life expectancy in the USA was around 65. Now more people are living into their 70s, 80s, even 90s and beyond. When people live longer, and thus will draw from Social Security and Medicare longer, it makes sense to raise the minimum age.
MM: It’s already Saturday afternoon, and I will not spoil my good mood by watching toxic videos of Faux News desperately trying to rile up a the last handful of Republicans left who weren’t going to vote,scraping the bottom of the barrel.

TNY: Reporting after the fact, are you, Andy? Drumpf has indeed sent his prized Sarah and taught them a lesson. A preliminary Saudi “investigation” now suggests that Kashoggi was killed in a fight. Yeah, right. Kashoggi really looked like a man who preferred a physical fight above one with words and would pick one when surrounded by security officers in a Saudi embassy. At least the Saudis now admit Kashoggi is dead.
