With only 18 Days left before Americans go to the polls with a chance to reclaim part of our nation’s government, the Republican Reich have abandoned campaigning on their much touted economic accomplishment that gushed up instead of trickling down. Instead they are working to stir up hatred with the cry "Caravan and Kavanaugh". Here’s what that’s about.
It’s so easy to get numb – to adjust to things now as they are and say, "Well, they’re not really that much worse than they used to be, are they?" and "Hey, politics has always been a dirty business." Outrage fatigue is real. If you are ever overcome by this, feel free to listen to Steve Schmidt remind you just how absolutely ahistorical and unAmerican this "president" is in his behavior.
There’s never been a genteel period of American politics but what we’re seeing here is something new, particularly from a president. He uses lying at mass rallies to scapegoat minority populations. He alleges conspiracies. He creates a sense of mass victimization and then positions himself as the avenger on behalf of the victims, defending them from the invading hoard of migrants coming from the south, approaching the border. This is all BS of the first order.
Folks, there is a reason our current White House occupant cozies up to dictators. He likes their style. This isn’t new for him – he has always had this approach to his own life and businesses. Lying, cheating, treating people like objects meant to serve him, easily discarded when they stop fulfilling any of his requirements. Only now he has the power of a dictator, too, thanks to Republicans (and a few Democrats) in Congress… [emphasis added]

I’ve never been a fan of Steve Schmidt, but I prefer his presentation, because it could not contain bias from me or the Democratic Party.
The message from the Republican Reich is that, unless they win, Democrats will do to all what they did to poor innocent Brett Kavanagh, while the caravan of evil greaser criminal will pillage American communities and gang rape American women.
The truth is that Injustice Kava-Nazi is an unrepentant pervert, and the Hondurans are legitimate refugees. Nothing is too dishonest for the Republican Reich and their evil Fuhrer!

Yes, it really helps when long-time Republicans start singing our song. Even though they may not sing it as well, their new-found sincerity can be convincing. Max Boot is another, and to some extent George Will. And guess what, Michael Cohen is not advising as loudly as he can from where he is that everyone should vote Democratic!

Steve Schmidt: I have seen Steve over the years past. While I do know that his past was as a republican, I feel that he has changed from those days. My feeling is that he now opposes what the Drumpf, his minions & GOP are doing to this country.
The “Caravan” are made up of people seeking and wanting a better life for themselves and their families. What is wrong with that? Nothing. Just like our ancestors came to this country seeking a good life. we are a country of immigrants.
I don’t know about you all in PP and C2, but I am agreeing that “Outrage fatigue is real”. I watch the MSNBC News and I do get it, unfortunately. sigh… I am not blaming MSNBC at all. Just the Drumpf, GOP and their ilk for what they are doing to this country.
I voted by absentee ballot today for the very first time. I have always liked going to the polls and voting. Fun! lol.

“Caravan and Kavanaugh”? The whole idea behind this riling up of people – no one in his right mind would call this a campaign slogan – is so vile that even some (former) Republicans speak out against it. That should give Americans an idea of how low Drumpf and GOP have sunk. Drumpf has had a bad effect on almost anything, including ‘rock bottom’. Every time we think he’s hit it, he manages to lower the standards even more.
The worst thing is that his hardcore base will gobble it all up. It’s so sad to see that hate-filled cries like “Caravan and Kavanaugh” are the only thing that’ll energize them. Hate seems to be the only thing that keeps them going.
This is NO TIME to give up, NO TIME to get numb, NO TIME to roll with the punches. This is a time to STAND UP, to RESIST, to PERSIST, to FIGHT BACK!!!
Agree with Freya 100%. We need to fight back against these as*holes with all of their foolish lies. The only way to do it is to get out there and vote the Democrats into office to start taking back the control of it. We MUST. If we don’t we certainly will be suffering way worse than we are currently suffering today.
