Steve Kornacki: The Red and the Blue
There is a big difference in the level of tribalism between the parties. When Democrats, like Franken or Weiner, have a pervert scandal, we clean house. When Republicans have a pervert scandal Trump got the White House, Judge Roy Moore got an endorsement, and Injustice Kava-Nazi got seat on SCROTUS (Republican Unconstitutional VD).
New Rule: The Fault in Our Stars

Steve Kornacki: The Red and the Blue: Love Steve Kornacki. He is very good at what he does with the big board map.

Bill – Monologue – It was a stupid week. That’s probably a big part of why I’m so emptied. That and a grueling day yesterday.
Kornacki – I don’t think Democrats are afraid to go against people in our own party. Sometimes I think we are TOO unafraid to go against someone from our own party., and we take it all the way to the voting booth, and shoot ourselves in the foot.
New Rules – I agree with this. Some celebrities are bright. Some are not. Hardly any are qualified to be president. Hedi Lamar was a genius, but she wouldn’t have been qualified to be president, because her genius was in the fields of physics and electricity, neither of which is necessary to be President. Bill’s last sentence really says it all, doesn’t it.
Agree! After the primaries, we need to close ranks.
Monologue: Apparently, Kanye has shown people what a manic speaking in “Word Salad,” looks like, sadly.
Steve Kornacki: Newthole started the “Junk science” meme, and it probably helped create the tribalism, as in believe science and you are a liberal, don’t and you are a conservative (who is only conserving his/her money). I see him every 2 years, speaking to a 55+ club, in Princeton, N.J. with lots of information to offer. He was there last month; wonderful!
“Republicans elect a celebrity who becomes a politician….” Wisdom from the tube!
I have no doubt Twitler will be inviting Kanye West back to our Oval Office for two reasons:
Twitler finally found someone sitting across from him that makes him NOT the [1] CRAZIEST or [2] DUMBEST A-hole in the room.

I trust Kornacki’s grasp of the numbers and he just told Democrats which wins they must win to get majority in the Senate.He said it does not look good.
Democrats just put through another 15 lifetime judges without any debate. I wonder what kind of scum got through this time.
