In a matter of minutes, before I finish writing this article, The conformation of Pervert Kavanookie to SCROTUS (Republican Unconstitutional VD) may or may not be a done deal. Senator Collins [R-ME] is announcing how she will vote in the final vote. If she says yes, barring a miracle, it’s over and Kavanookie will get his pervert party with TEABAG Thomas. If she says no, It will depend on Manchin [D-WV]. She said yes and piled on the BS. Here’s how we got to this point.
The US Senate voted narrowly to advance Brett Kavanaugh to the threshold of the Supreme Court, as President Donald Trump’s pick survived a dramatic procedural vote that could have effectively killed his nomination after sexual assault allegations were made against him.The vote was 51-49, after key swing Republican Sens. Susan Collins and Jeff Flake, along with Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, voted to advance the nomination. The final vote is expected Saturday.
One wavering Republican, Sen. Lisa Murkowski, defied her party and voted against advancing the nomination, and declared that she will vote against Kavanaugh’s confirmation Saturday as well
"He’s not the right man for the court at this time," she told reporters.
Flake said he will back Kavanaugh unless something changes. Asked how he will vote, he said "yes, unless something big were to change. I don’t see what would." The Arizona Republican had forced a one-week delay and an extended FBI investigation into Kavanaugh.
Collins said she will make her final position clear later Friday, adding a final element of drama to the tortured saga of Kavanaugh’s nomination that has exposed and deepened national political divides. A source close to Manchin said that he was expected to vote "yes" on confirming the judge but that given the fluidity of a tumultuous nomination process it was impossible to be sure…

Not only has Sen. Collins announced she will vote for Kavanaugh, she went on to give the Republican line that Democrats should be ashamed for their behavior in this conformation process. She gave a strong endorsement of Kavanaugh.
Sen. Murkowski’s (Republican) lone no vote will make no difference; neither will Sen. Manchin’s (a Democrat) yes vote, but he has to be the chicken shit of the day.
Kavanaugh’s votes on the Spreme Court for the rest of his life do not come with a cloud, they are just another vote by a Justice on the Supreme Court.
Murkowski is getting death threats and rape threats on her Facebook page. (Incidentally I doubt that many, if any, are from Alaskans.) They certainly prove her point. They want government by bullies because they ARE bullies.
Avenatti made a strong rebuttal to Collins also.
I believe today they are voting on cloture, and that there is one Republcan who is absent due to his daughter’s wedding, which should take the entire weekend. Well, we’ll see.
Murkowski will vote present instead of no, so that guy does not have to leave his daughter’s wedding.
I’m already looking forward to Kava-NAH’s impeachment investigation by the House with bated breath!

A Kava-nut confirmation will be very bad news for this country. Keep fighting tooth and nail, keep contacting your Senators. Vote out any yellow-bellied nincompoops who support this judge – if not this year, then in 2020 or 2022.
Cloture vote was 51 for and 49 against this AM. Now, this moves to a Saturday vote to confirm or not of Kavanaugh or not to the Supreme Court.
Watched Grassley and Bitch McConnell give their “speeches” this AM. They were so bad that I could barely keep from barfing. I liked both Feinstein & Schumer as they gave excellent speeches.

It may no longer be possible to keep Boofy-Boy off the Supreme Court — but let this strengthen everyone’s resolve to make sure as many Republicans as possible are voted out of office. Not just in the Senate, but in the House and the state governments as well. The Supreme Court doesn’t control everything. And the Republicans need to be shown there’s a price to be paid.
Ford, Ramirez, and Swetnick had a lot of guts to come forward and show the whole country the reality of what the Republicans are so determined to do here. Let it not be in vain.

I wonder what Collins got in return for her “Yes” vote. You know damn well it wasn’t given freely…and it was something that Democrats could not give her!
If it was another “promise,” which is what she got for her tax bill vote, she may end up with nothing.
I just nearly lost my dinner when the ABC’s 7 ‘o’clock (PM) announced that not only Collins will vote yes, but so will Manchin, according to himself. If he does as he promises, Manchin should be struck off their list of Democrats and shouldn’t receive another look, mention in conversation or penny from any Democrat. He should be declared dead to humankind. ?

Hard to believe that it took Susan Collins almost 45 minutes to justify her vote; What an oxygen thief she is. Joe Manchin seems to be a Republican trying to occasionally pose as a Democrat. I’ve had this “going to puke” feeling since election day, 2016, and it just seems to get worse every day.
