It’s a chilly day here at the CatBox. I just finished writing the Monthly Report and that wore me out. Wish me lots of Zs.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 4:21 (average 5:13). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Sen. Jeff Merkley: ‘Absurd’ There’s Only Going To Be One Copy Of FBI Report
Jeff was on this before we knew Kavanookie was a pervert. Dozens of Democrats won’t even get to see the cover-up. Jeff and Oregon lead the way. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!
From YouTube (Media Matters Channel): News reports and personal accounts contradict Kavanaugh’s defenses of himself
That’s over a dozen lies under oath. To disqualify, all it takes is one lie. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!
From Daily Kos: Voting early has grown increasingly popular across the country in recent years, and in some states, the early voting period for the Nov. 2018 midterms has already begun. Below, courtesy Ballotpedia, you can see when early voting starts and ends in all of the states where it’s available.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
4:59 Talk about a jaw breaker.
Sixty-page report from Brennan Center on what we need to do just to recover basic ethics.
You may have heard from one or more gun safety groups that
Here’s a thank-you e-card to them looking for signatures.
(Incidentally this is how the free market is supposed to work.)
New ad from the DCCC is hilarious (and still painful).
Jeff – Of course he’s been on it. Without forgetting about climate along the way, too. Wish we could clone him. I did read in AlterNet that Wray is saving all the backstory so that future generations (and I hope sooner) will be able to see what happened.
Kavanazi – Heitkamp is on record as a NO vote. Good for her. I have high hopes for Murkowski, if only because her Governor and Lt. Governor have publicly expressed “NOPE!” But her base is opposed too. Two things which could politically destroy her, either one, and she’s got both.
Voting – Ah, they must be mailing the ballots tomorrow then. They’ll send me an email and I’ll be watching my mailbox.
Cartoon – There must be a problem with my browser. It looks like the “one child” being pointed to is not lily-white. That can’t possibly be right.
Cartoon is a token.
Ah, that explains it.
Keep up the fight against Kava-not to the very end! We cannot allow him to be on the Supreme Court, because his appointment will almost certainly make our country’s backsliding unavoidable and unstoppable.
MSNBC: “A significant coverup”, to say the least, I can understand their (D’s) frustration(s) on reading this report.
MMC: NO to KavaNOPE!!!
DK: Me and hubs have already Early Voted!!! and mailed. Thank you for doing that too, (chart) !!
Cartoon: ugh! in the dead of night too! ;-(
Hope that you get your rest, and lots of Zzzz’s too. Take care, and Thanks, Tom.
YouTube: Sen. Jeff Merkley: ‘Absurd’ There’s Only Going To Be One Copy Of FBI Report! “WHAT!” I exclaimed when I heard this. One copy! Another one fraudulent scam from Bitch McConnell. sigh…
YouTube: Saw that. What a hypocrite Kavanaugh is! Bret should be disbarred. Bret is unfit to sit on the Supreme Court. UGH!
I am currently waiting on my early voter mail. You betcha I’ll fill it out and mail it back as soon as I get ASAP!
Cartoon: Did not particularly care for it. It was not funny at all. sigh…
.Joanne’s petition has been signed. We really need to get the NRA declared as an American Terrorist Group.
.
MSNBC: Finally, Sen. Menendez has voiced an opinion on this farce, saying that the FBI report is a “Bulls*it” document. The psychiatrist who is the lead author of the book about Dumpy’s sickness has come out with a strong suggestion that Kavanought should have a psychiatric assessment, that he appears to be a person with an ongoing alcoholic issue.
MMC: Anything he says, like Dumpy, must be considered a lie, first and foremost!
‘Toon: Yeah, because “Those Democrats ” do not want to hear you running your mouths off about how marvelously humane you are for saving the life of a child (snicker, snicker).
Sorry, I don’t have time to comment now but I have read everything. I will be back later. I just found my Nana’s ashes so I have to take hers, my mother’s and step father’s ashes to the cemetery for interment tomorrow morning.
I will likely be very scarce until Monday, if not completely MIA, as my brother is flying into town later today for tomorrow’s interment.
On another note, so McTurtle invoked cloture with Murkowski joining Dems in the ‘no’ vote and, typical of Joe Manchin, voting with Republicans. I guess that means that Collins voted party line. So much for her rage! I hope she is starting to clear out her Washington office because in 2019, I doubt she will need it. The vote is supposed to be Saturday. Even John Paul Stevens, retired justice, commented on the unfitness to serve, and who better to know than a retired Supreme Court Justice. And Diaper Don said a few days back that Dems would do anything to get their way? He definitely has his parties mixed up. Republicans have certainly railroaded the nation big time.
Hugs about the interment.
Thanks and hugs.
MSNBC: Jeff Merkley is spot on, as usual. And as usual it won’t make any difference.
MM: Yes, it would take only take only one lie to disqualify Kavanaugh. But who will get it past Grassley and McConnell?
DK Vote as early as you can an vote Blue!
