Bill has a point. Kavanookie was imitating Trump in the hearing. No wonder most of the Republicans loved it. He is his Fuhrer’s bitch!
I’m pleased that Bill keeps calling BS on what he says, but he should have called him out for his white supremacy and hatred.
Bill is equating Republican Supply-side pseudo-Christianity, the polar opposite of authentic Christianity, with religion. Authentic Christians do not proselytize, like Bill does. They coexist with other faiths, including Bill’s brand of evangelical Atheism.

Bill – Monologue – Yes to all. Well, almost all. We can’t truthfully say “America is not a country that puts a predator on the Supreme Court” because Thomas is there. WRT Kavanazi’s testimony, you know I can’t watch these things, but what everyone is describing is a classic “dry drunk.”
Bannon – I can only come back to the Karl Popper graphic about tolerance. We are not very good at not tolerating intolerance, and there are so many people who have a gut connection to being intolerant that as long as we are willing to tolerate intolerance we will sooner or later lose.
New Rules – One thing people, not just atheists, get wrong about religion is thinking that religion, specifically the Abrahamic religions, invented patriarchy. That’s backwards. Patriarchy came first. Religions, particularly the Abrahamic religions, were either invented ot twisted or some combination of invented and twisted to enforce it.

Good point, Joanne. True tolerance is Tolerance Within Reason. We tolerate different points of view, as long as they do not preach hatred or violence.

The White has put a limit on the scope of the FBI investigation. Judge and Remerize have been contacted by the FBI and both said they will cooperate. But the FBI will NOT be contacting Swetnick, or any of Kavanaugh’s Yale classmates by the orders of the White House when if gave the FBI the instructions on what to investigate.
The Republicans do not want and will not allow a through and fair investigation.
Well, there’s this – apparently NBC was played.
Whom should we believe, NBC’s sources or twittering Drumpf, who of course never tweeted a lie in his life? We’ll know as soon as the memo with the scope of the investigation is leaked. As the FBI isn’t known for leaking, the contents may not be known until after the investigation is concluded.
Thanks for that catch. There are so many liars in high office it’s hard to know who to believe. I certainly do not believe Trump. The truth will come out next week when the FBI presents its findings to the committee.
I think Trump plants false stories just so he can call the media fake news and liars.
There are so many contradicting stories that I’ll speak up when I actually know something.
TC has the right of it. But I think Jerry’s point that Trump plants things is on the money in general.
I understand that Jerry was right, but the restrictions were just lifted, because Flake and Collins demanded it.

Bannon was sure dancing, albeit not very gracefully at all, trying to dazzle us with his BS. He sure does have a PhD . . . piled higher and deeper!
I do agree with you that pseudo Christianity is nothing like the real thing. Unfortunately, too many people don’t know the difference.
