I’m waiting for Store to Door to deliver my groceries, and they are running late. When they arrive, I’ll have to break to unpack them, put them away, and eat lunch. WWWendy comes this evening to destink the TomCat and do chores.
Groceries done.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 3:20 (average 4:43). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From YouTube (MoveOn Channel): Black, Queer, Feminist — and Unapologetic
I agree. We’re all in the same basket, except the people who control the Republican Reich. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!
From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Chuck Grassley Responds To Brett Kavanaugh Accuser’s Request For FBI Probe
The Republican Party Operatives that attacked Christine need to wear jump suits, as orange as their Fuhrer’s ass! The Republicans on the committee should be tied under their Fuhrer’s Russian Hookers. Lindsey Poo should bare his butt to Putin, like his Fuhrer does. I fully believe, agree with, and support Christine. Late Update: Republicans are refusing to budge. I guess Republicans think that what happens at Georgetown Prep should stay at Georgetown Prep, to quote an infamous pervert. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!
From TPM: Just under 600 women alumnae of the high school that Christine Blasey Ford attended in Bethesda, Maryland have signed an open letter indicating their support for the woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of attempted rape in high school, Vox News reported.
While the women said they did not know anything about the specific allegations that Blasey Ford has made against Kavanaugh, they called her experience “all too consistent with stories we heard and lived” while attending Holton-Arms High School. The signees are students who attended the private girls school between 1962 and 2018, according to Vox.
“As far as Dr. Ford’s specific allegations, it is inconsequential/irrelevant to us whether anyone has heard them before, and in no way affects our belief that she is telling the truth,” Kate Gold, a class of 2005 graduate who was part of the group that first circulated the letter, told Vox. “What we are referring to in our letter is the nearly ubiquitous experience of high school girls as they try to navigate coming of age in a society dominated by toxic masculinity.”
They should all be called to testify. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

4:41 So much for the Emerald Isle.
Remember the 3D printed guns? Well, this story on the – um – entrepreneur is going under the radar right now on account of Kavanazi being so YOOGE:
MoveOn – So true. Seeing the world as a zero-sum game may be the most limiting thing one can possibly do. I do encourage thinking very long and hard and clearly before embarking on systemic change. I saw an article this morning suggesting that the Supreme Court should be abolished. The argument appears to be that it is not functioning as it should be (and I’m sure we can all agree with that). But abolishing the Supreme Court because it is not functioning as it should be is like killing your mother because she has cancer (so her body is not functioning as it should be.) I expect VERY few people would regard that as an ideal solution.
Lawrence – Woo-hoo! If even Orange Judas is saying there is “plenty of time,” then anyone trying to rush it is doomed (A saying of my Mom’s might be adopted by Democrats – “Don’t rush me, I’m not a Russian woman (man).” Now excuse me while I go weep for the loss of Russ Feingold.
TPM – If you called every woman in the United States who has experienced toxic masculinity while in high school, That would DEFINITELY delay the vote. Probably until at least 2050. (It would also be expensive, as some of us can’t financially afford to go to DC without assistance.)
Cartoon – Until they find a cheaper way. I’m sure mandatory cremation to reduce the need for special vehicles is coming.
P. S. This is for Pat B – but the rest of you are welcome to watch and listen too.
(Psssttt … your link is broken)
!@#$%^&*(~
Ok, Let’s try THIS ONE.
Love it!
WOW!!!
That might not be a campaign ad, but what a great campaign ad!
Go Beto!!!
The cartoon reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw recently: “We already have death panels. They’re called insurance companies.”
MOC: Right on! and get out and VOTE!!!!
MSNBC: Such a brave woman, I hope this investigation goes in her favor, as it should. I have no faith in any repugs acting above reproach during this investigation.
TPM: What Joanne said. Absolutely, and beyond…and also in the work place!
Cartoon: Gawd, isn’t that alful???? So true though!
*This just in: “VOTE BLUE to remove the ZOO!!! ~N. Aviles ~
Hi, WWWendy!!! Hope you got your chores done, and that you have a good, relaxing evening. Take care, and Thanks, Tom.
MoveOn Channel: She is so right, Here is a quote then from a course on Humanism that I just finished the other day: “Humanism aspires to provide guidance for a moral way of life based on our shared humanity.” that is what she is talking about, shared humanity, shared experience, “lived experiences!”
MSNBC: NO! The Republicans on the committee have not learned “nothing.” The republicans have learned a major lesson, throw the bulls**t, posture nicely, Lie, Lie, Lie, and they can push through any damned thing they want!!!!!!! WE need to learn a lesson: They do not give a rotten rat’s behind about anything but their power, damn the morals, damn the country, damn the future…as long as we, and those who fund us can make money!
TPM: This letter ought to be part of the hearings!!!!!!!!!! Ought to be shoved where Grassley lives, in the dark recesses of his rectum! Ms. Gold, and friends, ought to be given a “Truth to power,” award!
Thanks and muggy hugs!
Sorry, I’ve been very crook for two days, as they say Down Under, and not up to commenting.
