The man, Brett Kavanaugh, said that he was “pretty chill” about his upcoming job interview because he had been assured that “anything super damaging” had been removed from his H.R. file.
“There’s some stuff in my past—especially, like, from the nineties—that would be kind of heinous if anyone looked into it,” Kavanaugh said. “Fortunately, I know someone in H.R. and he took, like, a hundred thousand pages out of my file.”
The Washington native said that he had been assured that his job interview would be led by a group of other white men who “won’t ask me anything too hard.”

If tax breaks for corporations and the ultra-rich really created jobs here, we’d be begging for immigrants! Instead, the only jobs they create are in overseas sweatshops. The rich are slowly strangling the goose that lays their golden eggs.

Housekeeping Note:
Rather than the friends from Wisconsin coming here, they ask that I go to Omaha to spend a few days together since that’s where there at spending time w/ family.
Works out fine since I still haven’t heard anything from the carpet cleaner guy – and I’m a little nervous to text him, worried that it might not be good news.
Plus I was concerned how Nike would do with strangers. They’ve visited a couple of times – but not since I got Nike.
So no “Friday Fun” this week.

I had an advantage in that in the newsletter George used the word “Kute” as a headline.
It was “Kute” & I enjoyed it. I’m just a little dense.

Ayanna Pressley, being part of the city council, will likely have a higher profile in the constituency than Capuano who currently represents the area but is now based in Washington.
WaPo — Well one good thing to come from Diaper Don being in the WH, fact checkers will have job security!

Cartoon — I saw recently that Diaper Don is having his election banners made for the 2020 presidential race. And where are they being made? . . . China! I hope he has to pay tariffs! The MAGA hats and his ties are yet more products made in China. American workers will be waiting a long time with Diaper Don and Republicans in Congress.
Yesterday I slept or rested the entire day . . . I would try to read but my eyes kept closing. Fortunately, I slept like a baby last night. I had so much energy today that I did more than double the usual amount of exercises at physio and I have been energised, unable to sleep now. I am fading now, so good night!
