Well, unfortunately my carpet cleaning guy texted me late Wednesday evening that he had to go to the ER & is now in the hospital for observation. Told him I hope it was nothing major and wished him well – but I haven’t heard anything more from him. But I’m NOT getting my carpets cleaned today.
I will say the cat is very befuddled because in getting ready I moved all the easily moveable furniture into the family room (it has a wood floor) and the guest bedroom (really didn’t need cleaning). He misses a lot of his favorite napping spots. Plus it’s a real obstacle course for me to maneuver around now.
So I’m throwing together a quick, mini “Friday Fun” – because next Friday I’ll be in absentia while visiting with friends from Wisconsin.
In an effort to encourage STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) studies, I’m featuring some fun, nerdy science t-shirts:
This one is dedicated to Twitler:
And a “Bonus Rebus Question” graphic. You can put your answer in Comments:

Chicken Pot Pie
You Win!
What to I get?
My first instinct was chicken pot pie, and I see that I am correct! Good one!
I can’t say that I am in my element, but I periodically find an Ag lining!

Puns and Stem and rebuses. What could be better? Even though I’m always chasing 88-49-5-8-74-16, I am not expecting to find one better than your post!
WRT your “chasing” … follow a Unicorn (but maybe not too closely). I hear they actually fart them!
As do (some) cats.
Funny! Chicken pot pie!
Love ’em all!
First thought was ‘Chicken Pie’!
Great stuff, Nameless. I hope your carpet cleaning guy just had a scare but nothing wrong with him, but him skipping the appointment has given us some great laughs.
Thank you and here’s two back for Nike and yourself:
And one for Drumpf:
I have a different version of “Evolution,” with the same picture, but the text is “Somewhere, somehow, something went wrong!”
Gee, I hope your carpet cleaning man is gonna be okay.
Great post, liked the Chicken Pot Pie, and ‘This is how I Roll’ shirt.
Awesome, Thanks, Nameless, and Joanne for cross posting.
Love the STEM shirts.
I just bought a Pink Floyd “Dark Side of the Moon,” shirt, for what it’s worth.
OK, this shirt is late to the party, but yu can blame George Takei for that. He didn’t send me the link to it until today.
