My semi-annual eye torture was a success, as there is no evidence of the cancer. I’m still a little blurry and quite tired, because the day is an ordeal. We have a two day heat wave: Low 90°s today and mid 80°s tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll see normally (for me) by then.

He certainly should be wearing a hat, and a Trump hat would be appropriate! No, he wouldn’t be murdered in the street. Punched possibly – there are some who are that angry and undisciplined. How many incidents of people being attacked for wearing MAGA hats have you heard or read about? It’s the people who wear those hats, or have the matching mentality, who are causing trouble. The politics of fear from the person who is supposed to unite the nation, not divide it. I guess Bakker, who in my opinion is not an authentic Christian, is either parroting DD or DD is parroting Bakker. The violence is coming primarily from the right wing nut jobs aka DD supporters.

We had a terrible thunderstorm this afternoon that knocked out the power in large swaths of KCMO. Mine didn’t come back on until 7:45 tonight.
It was getting more than a tad warm by then. But Nike seemed to like the heat. After all, he crawls in the dryer when I open the door to take out the clothes.
What is it with cats and warmth? I mean, he’s got a fur coat to begin with!

MSNBC: It would be logical that Democrats want to pursue each and every point on that Republican “hell” list and even more so, and I wouldn’t blame them for one minute, but will they have time left over from all that to do some governing when they take the house? I believe America would be better served if Democrats would not go Drumpfian and spend all their time on pursuing all of those points but rather put their energy to clear up the mess Drumpf made and repair as much as possible.
TNY: Twelve-hour shifts? Mueller and his team are cruelly understaffed. Give him more workers and have them work shorter shifts before the unions come down on him and close him down! ?
