Had Ivanka been younger, as in a minor child, this borders on child abuse. Since she is not a minor, Drumpf is just displaying his licentious behaviour and disrespect for his daughter. While I am not a fan of this c word, Sam is making a point in political comedy. Ivanka made herself a target of such comedy by propping up daddy.

I went with the majority here. I think what Donald did was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever heard a father say about his own daughter. I don’t care what he thinks, but to say that out loud and on air? Well, that’s just ugly as can be. Which is no surprise in regards Donnie. He’s the most crass person to ever inhabit the Oval Office in every way.

tRump commenting about his daughter was totally disgusting! Anyone that would say anything close to what he said should be investigated for ALL the rapes, sexual assaults and just plain creepiness! As strongly as I feel about this, I may struggle a little to explain it. Mainly I am basing it on where respect is due. A father owes respect to his daughter because she is his flesh and blood; he is responsible, both for making her, and also for taking care of her, including protecting her. Donald’s remark was the opposite of that. Now, Ivanka has some position in the White House, and with that go responsibilities, including the responsibility of being a decent human being (and yes, I know n one in the White House is up to that; therefore NONE of them has earned any respect.) Whereas a citizen has a right and duty to call out bad behavior by officials to the degree the behavior is bad. Doing so is not disrespect if the behavior deserved it. This did.
And then, of course, I also agree with Sally Field.
I voted for the obvious choice for the obvious reasons. Score one for Thunder!

I still would like to see the sting taken out of the word. Not only is there no equivalent male term which carries that kind of sting, but the two insults to men which may be strongest are insults, not to them, but to their mothers – in other words, you can’t even insult a man without insulting a woman! No one is entitled to that kind of power.
And the only way we can take the sting out is by using it. And preferably not using it as an insult, though even that helps make it familiar and helps in the long run.
That’s what I thought “The Vagina Chronicles,” would do.
Feckless, according to wikipedia: the first sense we derive feckless, meaning witless, weak or ineffective; worthless; irresponsible; indifferent; lazy. Oh, does this trait run in the family, in the genes of the Empty Orange?

As an outsider it’s rather amusing to see how upset English speaking people get whenever female genitalia are mentioned, especially in swearing, but don’t seem to mind half as much when words describing male parts are used. I also wonder if so many would have reacted if Ivanka had been called a feckless bitch, the latter having become almost meaningless by its abundant use in pop-culture.
The Dutch have their own “c” word, in this case a “k”word i.e. “cut” spelled with a “k”. Before the global “f” word caught on here, it was the word most widely used in swearing when not using profanities or diseases. It has the same versatile use as the “f” word as noun, (mostly) adjective, verb and adverb, which may be why it is far more popular than your “c” word. As a swearing word it has lost most of its meaning, just like most profanities have here. Calling someone a Nazi or a fascist however may still warrant an apology if a case for it can’t be made.
