Here is the one hundred eighteenth article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. Today’s honoree is Republican gubernatorial candidate for Georgia, Michael Williams. He is so honored for the Republican way he joins immigration with hate and racism.
Fox host Martha MacCallum made it clear that Georgia’s “Deportation Bus Tour” candidate Michael Williams is not on the network’s roster of preferred candidates (unlike Ron DeSantis) but his racist-Republican message still got a warm welcome.
The Daily Beast has a good run-down of Williams’ gubernatorial candidacy:
Michael Williams, a Georgia state senator, is currently polling dead last in the state’s Republican primary. With the primary next week, Williams is trying to rally racists by hosting a “Deportation Bus Tour” from a converted school bus plastered with slogans like “FILL THIS BUS WITH ILLEGALS” and “DANGER! MURDERERS, RAPISTS, KIDNAPPERS, CHILD MOLESTORS [sic], AND OTHER CRIMINALS ON BOARD.”
As The Daily Beast also noted, Cracker Barrel made it clear that the chain wants nothing to do with Williams who has scheduled at least 10 stops at various restaurants around the stat…[emphasis added]

Look at the way he stereotypes all undocumented people, the vast majority of which are just peaceful workers trying to find a better life, as the most vile kinds of people. That earned him a parade. The only name he failed to call them is a name far more vile than any of the ones he used: Republican.

I think it happened when you changed from Pat B to P Bowen. Your first under the new identity was held for moderation.
Nothing but Dumpy’s impact on the national scene, is responsible for this kind of display! The theme is not new in the GOPIG world, but to lay it out there, so proudly Un-Americanly, is the result of Dumpy’s sickness.
They just keep coming, don’t they? And show no signs of even thinning down, let alone stopping.
This guy – you don’t show the picture I saw of him, on which I commented “A real Republican – can’t take his hand out of his crotch even for an official photo.” Which is just as well.
Cracker Barrel has its own little reputation for racism. It’s refreshing that even they can’t stomach him.

Michael Williams really deserves his place in the Parade, if only for his stupidity that goes beyond that of what we expect of Republicans nowadays. He’s literally at the bottom of a barrel of deplorables, drives a bus around filled with signs of hatred, but can’t even spell that correctly and then drives this bus with himself inside to Faux News while its says: “DANGER! MURDERERS, RAPISTS, KIDNAPPERS, CHILD MOLESTORS, AND OTHER CRIMINALS ON BOARD.”
Let’s do the people of Georgia a favour, put Williams and the other four equally foul hate-speech spewing candidates on that bus and deport them to just across the southern border. Mexico will not want them, so put that bus out in the sun in the neutral zone for a day or two. See how they like it.
Deport them to Antarctica. There’s nobody there to complain, and they clearly need a cooling-off period. Tell them we’ll let them back into the US when they demonstrate fluency in English by correcting the misspelled word on the bus — but don’t tell them which word it is.
Now that sounds like a plan.

There’s little wonder that this hate-monger chose to stop at Cracker Barrel restaurants – it’s right-wing supporting eatery that is actively involved with ALEC, the “bill mill” front group that quite literally writes the right-wing bills for republicans – our actual unelected legislators.

What rock did this creature crawl out from beneath??? It is a pity because he and the rest of this racist, bigoted rabble, aka Republicans, are giving a bad name to the US. I am reminded that only love can defeat hate, only light defeat darkness . . . but damn, Republicans make that very hard!
