The outside temperature is only 62°, but the sun hit the wall an hour ago, and before long, I’ll be uncomfortable enough to button-up the CatBox, and fire-up the AC. Today’s high is only 80° today, but 88° is forecast tomorrow and Monday. That’s just too stinking hot this far North. ARGH! My barber moved out, and I had to get a new barber to replace her, so I get shorn of my winter mane tomorrow.

DKos/Chris – It was well said, wasn’t it? But do you think even laid out that plainly, it will convince anyone who doesn’t already see it? Or, that if it does, we won’t drive them away bay yealling at them that this was their fault? Sure, it was – but yelling at them when they get a little smarter will not make them a lot smarter, and it sure as heck won’t make them like us!
Pat – I sure wish him the best. My impression is that New Mexico doesn’t have quite as many pearls-clutchers as most other state. I hope I’m right.

BBA: I don’t watch or tolerate Faux (it’s forbidden in this house), or KEYE, (Austin/Sinclair). I watch Rachel, Chris, and the old timer’s movie channel. Oh, and PBS, and the History Channel. That’s about it in this house.

I hope Ian Bassin, and so many others, besides excellent rhetoric, also have an action plan in place and executing it to get Republicans and Drumpf out of office and replace it with people with integrity. It’ll be November before you know it.

Media Matters — So good to hear that one man say “Fox News is not real news and you’re not a real reporter.” Too bad Drumpf and his supporters don’t know this, or don’t want to know this. Faux Noise is opinion and entertainment at best, not news.

Crooks & Liars — I did read about his ad in AlterNet where the TV station manager said:
“…What we can control however, is the 15 seconds of air time preceding it, which we will use to warn the viewer of a possible offense, disclaim our own views, and cite the federal laws imposed on candidates and tv stations.”
Fair enough but Davis’ message stands. I really like his last line:
