French President Emmanuel Macron is here on an official state visit yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Unfortunately for him, he has to spend much of that time in close contact with the Fuhrer of the Republican Reich, Pipi Pervers, Donald Trump. And if that isn’t bad enough, he might even have to meet Trump’s National Security Adviser, Jon Bolton. Poor Macron!
John Bolton, President Donald Trump’s new national security adviser, chaired a nonprofit that has promoted misleading and false anti-Muslim news, some of which was amplified by a Russian troll factory, an NBC News review found.
The group’s authors also appeared on Russian media, including Sputnik and RT News, criticizing mainstream European leaders like French President Emmanuel Macron.
From 2013 until last month, Bolton was chairman of the Gatestone Institute, a New York-based advocacy group that warns of a looming “jihadist takeover” [hate speech delinked] of Europe leading to a “Great White Death. [hate speech delinked]”
The group has published numerous stories and headlines on its website with similar themes. “Germany Confiscating Homes to Use for Migrants, [hate speech delinked]” warned one from May 2017, about a single apartment rental property in Hamburg that had gone into temporary trusteeship. Another from February 2015 claimed the immigrants, for instance Somalis, in Sweden were turning that country into the “Rape Capital of the West. [hate speech delinked]”

This article is bad enough, but it does not cover what Bolton has to say about France and about Macron personally. Leave it to Rachel Maddow to fill in all the gaps.
Kudos to Emmanuel Macron for the courage to abide three days of Trump, let alone Nazis like Bolton.

LOL! Off topic, I find it intriguing that men whose hair grays “normally” (later in life) experience graying/whitening of the facial hair first, whereas men who go prematurely gray keep dark facial hair long after the head hair is gray or even white.

Prior to officially joining the fascist Drumpf régime, Bolton said that he was going to clean house and it would appear that he has and continues to do that. As Rachel mentioned, who the hell was in charge of vetting Bolton??? Oh I forgot, he’s a racist asshole so no vetting needed for the fascist Drumpf régime. LOL You’ve got all the reasons in the world to worry about John Bolton’s presence in the White House and his influence on Drumpf these days, but stop worrying about Macron. He’s about the smartest politician (note I don’t say “man”) France ever had as a president, certainly the smartest in decades. He runs runs rings around people like Drumpf and Bolton, with an overall charm offensive. Until you care to listen to his speeches, that is.
I doubt many in America took the time to listening to the translation of his speech in French (for which there was no need, because his English is excellent though heavily accented). The Dutch news immediately pointed out that his speech wasn’t so “charming” and that it spoke out against a lot of things that have generated from the Drumpf administration, including Drumpf’s renewed aggression against Iran and offering a new, third way to go when the time-limit on extending the nuclear treaty runs out. Rest assured that Macron knows exactly who he’s dealing with in case of Bolton and also knows that Drumpf’s aggression against Iran is fed by Bolton, hence his new line of approach.
I’m sure Angela Merkel, visiting the White House soon, will take exactly the same approach. Probably Drumpf will embarrass himself just as much when she’s over, even though she hasn’t the political charm Macron has.
