It’s another crazy day here at the CatBox. I’m hurrying to get done before I need to leave for a Fair Market Residents’ meeting for the remodeling relocation. Because I have been proactive, I’d be willing to bet that I will learn absolutely nothing that I do not already know, but I need to put in an appearance to keep them focused on my needs.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 3:03 (average 4:18). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): President Trump May Rue Selection Of Bolton For National Security Adviser
Based on what Rachel said, Bolton will soon be the subject of major national security and campaign finance criminal investigations, if he is not already. This will compromise his ability to keep his security clearance. RESIST!!
From YouTube (Vox Channel): US voting machines are failing. Here’s why.
All voting machines must have a paper trail to minimize Republican election theft. RESIST!!
From Bloomberg: If John Dowd discussed the possibility of a presidential pardon with lawyers for Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort while Dowd was serving as Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, it’s a big deal — definitely for Dowd, and conceivably for Trump.
The president has the inherent power to pardon anyone he wants. But doing so with a corrupt reason — such as saving the president’s skin — would be obstruction of justice.
Drip… Drip… Drip… RESIST!!
Cartoon:
The Injustice may be sizzling, but the Republican judicial procedure remains the same.

4:48 He is a raptor, you know …
Some satire from a possibly unexpected source …
I went to the same high school that Joan did (not at the same time – her senior year was the year before my first year. I did once use a textbook she had used, though), so I’m taking the liberty to share this though it may not be immediately timely. Tissue warning.
Rachel – I had not seen this … but I had seen that Bolton is most unlikely to be able to get a ‘real’ security clearance (as opposed to the ‘training wheels’ kind, such as Jared Jushner has.) Not that the distinction means much to this – resident. Treason is all in a day’s work. BTW, there is at least one petition to protect Chris Wylie – he may need it – not to menton WE need for bad precedents NOT be set.
Vox – Well, your (blue) state has a paper trail. My (blue) state has a paper trail. Am I seeing a pattern here? Blue people in red states, I’m afraid you are going to have to watch your elections like hawks (or should I say with eagle eyes) because only you can do so. But the answer to the question, “Whay aren’t states and counties replacing them? is that Republicans who have cash-starved states and counties have done so for reasons. This is one ot the reasons.
Bloomberg – Of course the reason we are seeing stories explaining why something like this is a big deal is that so many Americans, particularly Republicans, have zero knowledge of both the law and of ethics. Someone should do a survey askking Trump voters to define the word “corrupt,” for instance. Betcha they can’t.
Cartoon – What, no barf bag alert?
MSNBC: Ho Boy! The hole gets deeper and deeper, doesn’t it? Get him out!! (get them all out!)
Vox: I’ve always received a paper voting paper when I’ve voted. Paper is best, imho.
Bloomberg: Good article. Quite frankly, Putin’s Puta is as guilty as the next one he hires on for his administration. Dowd should have known better though, IF he did talk about this to the lawyers. imho.
Cartoon: ugh!! So true though.
Best to and from your meeting, and hope it goes well. Enjoy your evening, take care, and Thanks, Tom.
*Joanne, Beautiful video, love Joan B. Thank you!
Considering how the U.S. has interfered with other countries’ governments and elections, we are ones to mewl about foreigners messing up ours. Good to know that Cambridge Analytica has been exposed.
Could out-of-date voting machines be affecting the outcomes of elections? Wouldn’t be surprised. A bad voting machine in the wrong district could easily flip a close election.
RESIST, PERSIST, INSIST!
MSNBC: Republican deviousness, and LAWLESSNESS knows no bounds. So much for the party of Law and Order! The Orange jackass is so into corruption, that he probably could not pick a reasonable person out of a crowd of 12 year old alter boys!
Vox: Who wants to bet that the reddest states put in, or use, the least amount of $ for updates, per capita?
Bloomberg: And would theEmpty Orange care?
‘Toon: I certainly hope the Injustice is sizzling, if such a thing is possible!!
Thanks all. Way behind. Hugs!
I’m way behind too, so all I’m going to say: defence walls around the Drumpf empire are crumbling fast.
