This is Joanne’s seventh Big Mouth award. She earned her first in September 2013, her second in March 2015, her third in May 2015, her fourth in July, 2016, her fifth in October, 2016, and her sixth in September, 2017. I still predict there are more coming. I still think JD comments more than I do.
A denizen of Care2, she came to us from there, and is now part of management. She’s super-smart, witty a political junky and an activist for all kinds of human rights. I have had occasion to correspond with her, and she faces some major issues in her life with exceptional dignity and grace.
In early 2016, I appointed her to a staff position, Politics Plus Author, and in October 2016, I promoted her to Editor. Please join in piling on the praise and kudos she deserves. Her daily comments and her articles make this a far better site.

If you count articles and comments together, no way. If you count just comments as opposed to articles, I wouldn’t be surprised. But even if I COMMENT more, TC SAYS more.
I am terribly flattered. And humbled and grateful for all the nice things everyone has said.
Heaven knows I comment A LOT. Yet part of me is wishing this award had gone to, say, Richard A or bsnowberger, who are new, or maybe to Infidel ot Critter, who are aything but new, but from whom we would love to hear more. Not to mention all the Care2 members who comment there but not, or at least seldom, here. I hope to hear much more from all of the above! Come on, folks, join the fun!
JD, bsnowberger’s recent comment was his first ever here. I’d love to see more C2 denizens comment here more often, but unfortunately, a C2 traffic is going down, here and there.
Hence the “newcomer.” I don’t think Richard A’s latest was more than the second, of course I could be wrong. Just giving a little pep talk … I know some are feeling less welcome at Care2, but they are definitely welcome here!
