It’s am extremely busy day, here in the CatBox. It’s the first of the month. In addition to normal first chores on the home front, I changed the poll, and did my normal research. I also made all the graphics and prepared all the data I shall need for tomorrow’s Monthly Report. That’s two pounds of kitty shit in a one pound box, but I’m determined not to get way behind this month.

From The New Yorker: Donald J. Trump collapsed from exhaustion after approximately ninety minutes of pretending to be a human being with empathy, the White House doctor has confirmed.
“In all my years of practicing medicine, I have never met a patient as healthy and vigorous as President Trump,” Dr. Ronny Jackson said. “But the sustained effort of simulating compassion proved too much for someone who has never exercised that part of his brain before.”
Shortly after Trump spent a gruelling ninety minutes pretending to care about immigrants, the unemployed, and other people whom he normally dismisses as losers, aides noticed that he was turning from a bright orange to a slightly paler orange before crumpling to the ground in a giant heap.
“If you have never spent a moment thinking about a human being besides yourself, imagine trying to pretend you are doing that for a solid ninety minutes,” Jackson said. “It’s physically punishing.”
Dang Andy! It’s too bad Trump didn’t actually care for a split second. The strain of that would have killed him. RESIST!!

Nunes – Sam, of course, mentions this too. And I just read that Ryan is plotting to read it aloud into the Congressional Record to get past any classification concerns. Way to piss off the FBI even moe than they already are, Paul!
Aunt Maxine – I think she was exceedingly polite. But accurate. Angela Rye’s closing was also inspiring. (My only concern about impeaching now is the potential of Republicans later crying something like “Double Jeopardy!” when we get a Congress that will do its job.)
TNY – He did’t actually collapse only because he didn’t pretend all that well. He was extremely unconvincing. BTW Janet Yellen is about to leave the Fed, and then we will see what he does to the economy (even if you don’t count the current dips occurring in anticipation.)
Cartoon – I don’t know – she looks pretty flapper-y to me.
I’ve already signed several petitions against Nunes, and contacted my Congress critters.
Well Done, Madame Waters. tRump is – perhaps unarguably – the biggest embarrassment to the USA in all history. His election is a strong indication that our country is headed straight for a meltdown. RESIST indeed – and PERSIST and INSIST!

Then there are “Depredations,” and “which of these things is the most outrageous?” That fellow is jut barely ble to contain himself from screaming “What the f is this?” And this is NOT the first time Nunes had been screwing with the truth via a memo.
